One of the best coffee spots in KC! The small building is adorable, the coffee is top notch, and the staff are always friendly... despite being swamped every time we go. Make sure to add them to your coffee tour if you?re visiting, or give them a try ifyou?ve overlooked them before now! Historical house on the border of Kansas and Missouri. Lots of character with excellent drinks and pastries. I ordered the... golden latte and it wasn't too sweet not overpower with turmeric. My friend ordered the honey and cinnamon which will notdisappoint! For food, I ordered the almond croissant which had a almond paste filling. It tasted fresh texture was veryenjoyable. My friends pop tart was also very unique compared to many that we've tried out of state. This is THE cutest little coffee shop in the area, hands down. Perfect for coffee dates. Try the Aztec Spicy Mocha for a nice... morning kick. Fun fact: the name Hi Hat comes from the hi hat cymbals that drummers play with their left foot. From what i heardthe owner is a real jazz head, thus inspiring the name. Seriously, i just had a coffee date this morning and it was the perfectplace for it. Great staff, great coffee, cozy atmosphere. Give them your money. Read more
