Reviews for LeBrane's Creole Cuisine & Catering in Westwego, LA
Always excellent. Quiet little restaurant with fresh mixed greens salad with cucumbers and cherry tomatoes.... As a side. It... is a sign of their emphasis on quality versus the typical iceberg with a couple of carrot shavings. The lunch specials, lasagnatoday, are always excellent in presentation and taste. Read more
I had just finished up a tour in the area and was getting hungry. I came in for lunch. Had the Cajun BLT (thick sliced bacon,... fried green tomato, lettuce, in toast) and it was amazing. Service was great. Read more

This charming café is located on the riverfront of the historic Salaville District in Westwego. There is plenty of free parking... adjacent to the newly remodeled building. As soon as my mom and I walked in we were greeted warmly by the owners and staff. Thedining room is clean, roomy, and decorated with local NOLA flair(The original artwork that adorns the walls of the restaurantare for sale as well). As for the food it was absolutely delicious. The shrimp in my Po Boy were fried to perfection and the bunwas toasted nicely. Mom had the fried shrimp platter with a fresh house salad, which she enjoyed tremendously! Not a bite wasleft on either of our plates. I must note that we had to try the "Debris Fries", which everyone raves about around town. YUM!!Seasoned fries covered in hot roast beef (as in warm) with just the right amount of garlic. Those were gone before the entreesarrived. We were stuffed before we left but we ordered some fried bread pudding to go. They are to die for! I will definitely bea regular customer at LeBranes's Creole Cuisine! They also have a fantastic breakfast menu with several options, fromtraditional to unique creations. Great food, friendly staff and welcoming! Don't miss out on this gem of an addition to SalaAvenue. I have a coworker that takes orders and gets this delivered to us on Thursday's. So far I have had the Stewed Chicken with Rice,... Greens, French Bread, and a Dessert. I have also had the Lasagna with the same sides. I will say that this place has not madesomething I have not liked. Both meals in general was flavorful and tasted fresh and homemade. The portion sizes are verydecent for the price you pay. All in all, it is a great experience. Because of this, I will definitely have to make my way outthere to try other things. Based off of what I have had, I would highly recommend going there. 5 stars. Read more
