Food was ok. For what they had. They were out of alot even burgers? How can a restaurant be out of burger? Said they had a busy... weekend.then go to Sam's and buy burger to get by..out of drinks ,the service was so so..never got the chicken in theAlfredo..we all ate at different times ..just a bad experience. This was my first visit to The Galley. The food was delicious and the view was amazing. We will visit again.
Avoid the gumbo. That being said, we had a table for 2 right on the lake side with a killer view of the Green Mountains, the... staff was friendly and attentive, they had a great selection of local brews on tap, and the burger and fries were fantastic.Quiet, family-friendly place. Read more
We were out in the lake for the day and called in an order to be picked up. The dock hands were very helpful in helping us tie... up. The food was good, we ordered a bunch of appetizers and they were ready in about 30 min. Overall, would definitely come backto this place. Read more
Best burgers in town, the server Jody is the nicest you'd ever meet. I will definitely be coming back.
Updated read on 2017: The location and views are great plus a full service marina. The food is good. The restaurant service is... just ok, they should work on improving it. 2018: we decided to give the galley another try.. we had a 630 reservation for 11, 4adults and 7 children age 4-13. We ordered drink and appetizers then dinners. The waiter was very nice and everything seemedgreat.. we waited and waited and waited.... 2 1/2 hours after we sat, we got our dinner. The waiter had disappeared and theserver was nasty and rude! Turns out the waiter was also the cook, dish washer and bartender trying to do his best.. The ownersparty of 4 sat at 7pm and was served right away. They should have been ashamed to jump ahead in the kitchen while payingcustomers were left to wait. Read more
Here for 2 days by boat and ate at the restaurant, twice. Food is just OK if what you want is available. Brittany, a server... was 5-star ... she was attentive, engaged. apologetic and made the meal service acceptable. Food, a lot of fried stuff andCisco prep. Next day, the meal and server was abysmal ... the server was a real ditz ... she couldn't remember beverages,order, place settings even after asking 3 times to repeat our orders. Half the menu was not available. A tad pricey for thefood and service ... it's a work in progress, post Covid. Read more
