Typically the delivery drivers here are great, but I recently had a disappointing experience with (I assume) a new delivery... driver. His name was either Brandon or Landon. On top of being 10 minutes late, I asked for a no contact delivery because mygrandma lives with me and is immunocompromised, yet he came to the door anyway. Also, I opened the door and he was on his phonewith headphones in. Overall I felt like he was very disrespectful and impolite in comparison to the standard that the otherdrivers set. I consistently order a pepperoni pizza with 2 cheeses. In my last order I received a cheese-only pizza, no pepperoni, and with... very little cheese. Strong advice: check the pizza before leaving the store. In today's order my pepperoni pizza with 2 cheesesconsisted primarily of a big piece of dough literally smothered in tomato sauce, with *at most* a mere sprinkling of cheese. Isuppose I should be grateful I received pepperoni this time. It was essentially a tomato sauce pizza with pepperoni. 2 very poorexperiences 2 times in a row. These people will say anything so that you give them your money and then will not give you your food. I ordered a pizza for... delivery, and less than 5 minutes later I get a call from the guy who works there saying that he cannot deliver it even thoughthey have over an hour before they close. Papa John's, if anyone has to lower themselves to order a pizza from you at night, itis not out of pleasure. At least have the decency to tell people you cannot deliver before they pay. Read more
Ordered plain cheese pizzas for a kids birthday party. The order came wrong - they promised they would redeliver and then never... did. When I called back the manager basically said ?not my problem? as it was a delivery service, even after I explained theother employee had promised to remake them and we had been waiting on the pizza. We were left hanging with hungry kids at aparty. Would have paid double to just get the right pizzas redelivered. They were so unkind and unhelpful. We ordered from adifferent local restaurant who made our pizzas correctly in about 15 minutes and saved the day. Would never order from PapaJohn?s again. Not just that a mistake happened but that the manager was so unkind in their response and unwillingness to remakethe pizza (after the other employee promised to take care of it!). I ordered two cheese pizza for kids party, they messed up the order and put mushrooms and peperoni. They agreed to remake it and... redeliver after we called. After a period of time we called and they changed their mind and decided to not remake the pizza anddeliver. So we ordered from a different restaurant. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. NEEDLESS TO SAY WILL NEVER BUY HERE. Service here sucks waited an hour for delivery, my order was marked... delivered, but never actually delivered so I call the store for help. Sara picks up the phone and states that she doesn't knowif it was delivered or not, if I am going to get my order or anything really. The driver is not there and she doesn't reallycare. Says she will issue a refund since she won't do anything to fix the issue, can't give me any refund confirmation, email oranything really and just hangs up on me. I call back and speak to the manager Jessica who says she just works for papa johnsand doesn't want my money and doesn't really care and I just have to trust that she actually did do her job this time andissued a refund. I would say check your boxes before you leave. Our garlic bread sticks were burnt and they didn?t give us the pizza sauce. After... I tipped and signed my receipt I said thank you have a good night and not one of the 4 employees standing right there saidanything. Last year, I would buy the Shaq-a-Roni Pizza very very often. It was my favorite pie anywhere. I was so excited to hear that... it is back.....NOT ANYMORE!
