I remember when I was a kid my father would always tell me how nice this place was but we were so poor we could never go. Now... that I?m older and do pretty well it was great to bring my family here. I wish he was still alive so he could have joined us.Fall time is a great time to visit with all the leaves changing makes it a very scenic experience. The food was also great. Read more

Visiting this place for dinner with my husband who used to come here with his family as a kid every Thanksgiving. He hadn?t been... back in over 20+ yrs. He said the place still looks the same, as beautiful. The ground is awesome, with the little lake withducks, waterfall, lovely landscape, two covered bridges which I loved, and enchanting outdoor seating. Our server was a friendlyyoung lady who was very attentive. My husband had a delicious salmon, and I had some soup and salad which were just ok. The fallcocktails were so good. It was the visit that was important for us - for my husband, walking down memory lane. He remembered thecorn fritters, the sweet young lady gave us extra pecan rolls for the road (which was his favorite!). I?m so glad we came and ifwe come to N England again, we will certainly be back at the Old Mill! Read more

You cross a bridge to get to the building (there are 2 bridges). Foodwas really good the pecan sticky bread is crazy and the corn fritters were excellent also(comes out for free).. Waitress wasexcellent and the blue crab ravioli was pretty good. Overall experience was very good Read more

Like so many before me have said, the setting is wonderful. What a beautiful and rustic step back in time. The food was... wonderful as well. This evening I had the Teriyaki Steak Tips served with the squash and a Cesar salad. The steak tips were of alarge portion and cooked as ordered, flavored well. The squash was like devouring Christmas on a fork, amazing! Read more

A hidden gem, on the banks of the wachusett river, ducks for company. This is a classic New England eatery, with some real good... options. The Booze was excellent, the martinis right on target, and the burger, salmon, calamari and crab ravioli right ontarget. A well hidden gem waiting ro be discovered by discerning patrons. You will leave happy. Read more

The Old Mill was an experience! The site is beautiful - I'll bet it's perfect for weddings and fun for parties. The standard... dinner menu is... a bit dated. Going in, I didn't expect anything fancy, but the menu was a little underwhelming. The (3) mealswere average. The baked halibut was a good size, served only with choice of potato or veg, no salad. The teriyaki tips weretough. The prime rib was generous, but slightly over done. The dinner salads were tiny and all condiments were served in plasticportion cups...yuck. An average price of $21 each meal. The Irish Nachos appetizer were perfect. Our server was excellent.Friendly, helpful, and perfect timing. Unfortunately, the men's room was dirty and smelled like urine. Very dingy and unclean. Read more
