I was just in a few days ago. I had decided I wanted to really blow it out and I am so glad that I chose MD Mallet. I treated... myself and my fiance to a lovely night. I got the stuffed rockfish with a side of a half rack of ribs and it was absolutely todie for. The service was so fun and enjoyable, if you get sat with a "Goldy" you're in for a great time. If you are a whiskyaficionado, I cannot praise their bar's selection enough. No where else local has the same spread. Read more

My husband and I made our first trip a couple of weeks ago. Our waitress was absolutely one of the best I've had. My husband is... a big guy, but couldn't finish all of his food because there was so much! The crushes, Maryland Crab soup, hush puppies, and myburger with a crab cake on top were delicious. Yeeeehaw! Iv struck seafood gold out in Westminster, MD! We came on a day where they ran out of crabs but everything else we... ordered was off the hook! Fresh Delaware oysters, big juicy angus burgers, steamed shrimp, hush puppies, cream of crab soup ( abit more jumbo lump crab next time), seafood mac & cheese, bbq pork ribs w/ loaded baked potato and a beautiful sunset view togo with all that deliciousness! Let me give you a visual.....I travel high and low for quality crabs from Jersey to Florida and these are by far the BEST crabs... I've had in a real long time especially for it to be January....I enjoyed myself and although I live in NC, I will be a regular!Good seafood ain't cheap, and cheap seafood ain't good!!! Seafood and regular food restaurant. Maryland Mallet Restaurant and Smokehouse Pub is a few miles from the Carroll County... Regional Airport. The front door opens on the upper level, and the back door opens to the lower level. Since the parking lot ison a hill, there are no steps between the parking lot and either level so both levels are handicapped accessible. I had a creamof crab soup, plenty of cream, some crab meat, excellent seasoning. Then I had a crab melt sandwich, essentially a BLT on toastwith crab meat. Very good. My cousin and his friend had crab cakes. They enjoyed them. Service was efficient and friendly. Therestaurant was neat and clean. I recommend the Maryland Mallet Restaurant and Smokehouse Pub.
