Reviews for Birdie's Cafe in Westminster, MD
I was extremely disappointed. I had high hopes as I was in town visiting my daughter and we decided to go for breakfast. Staff... was extremely nice but the food was very mediocre. I ordered the avocado toast & bacon. The bacon was the precooked bacon thatcomes in the box that you heat in microwave. Definitely not what I expected for the price I was shocked as this placed gives youfresh home cooked vibes upon entry. The avocado toast was literally toast with a few avocado slices, not mashed, not seasonednothing. Just there I had to ask for salt/pepper. Now my daughter's sandwich was tasty I can't remember exactly what it was butit was like this veggie sandwich with hummus. Again I had high hopes maybe this was just an off day. Read more
I love this place. It's hard to find quaint coffee shops with a comfy and cool environment. This place fits the bill. Their... latte is made perfectly and is delicious. I've had a regular egg and cheese sandwich and the avocado toast so far, both wereamazing and high quality. Please support this cafe, they represent great things and have the atmosphere to back them up. Read more
We had a lunch meeting here on July 26th 2022. Even though we had almost double the amount of people show up, Sherri and the... staff at Birdie's came through with an excellent meal for everyone. I've also been there for breakfast a number of times. Thefood and especially the coffee options have been top-notch! Excellent place and highly recommended. Read more
I adore this cafe! I love that you can wash your clothes at the Laundromat and walk to the cafe. The inside is original and... inviting. The only thing that bothers me is it's very expensive. I was thinking maybe $15 for my lunch but instead it came to$32. For a smoothie and my sandwich. But the food in all honesty is worth it. The owner is very personable and kind. So 5 stars.I'd give 10 if I could. Read more

First and foremost, they are open, but the door sticks, and they get touchy about people who cannot open the door and they will... point out that other customers have had no problem with the door. Nice way to greet new customers. The décor is very dark, asall the tables, the radiators and chairs are all black, and the area is dimly lit. They do not have AC in the main seating areabut do have a single residential ceiling fan. After my greeting this morning, I just tried the green tea. It had a good tastebut was a bit expensive at $2.91 for 16oz plastic cup. One other thing to mention is their social justice sign in the mainarea. While everyone is entitled to their opinions, I do not like to be bombarded by them while I enjoy a drink orfood. Overall, based upon the décor, the greeting and the expense, I will most likely not return. Read more
