Wow to say we're disappointed is an understatement. We ordered the combo platters w/a side of hushpuppies & a seafood... gumbo. The fish tasted decent - was 2 small pieces - not seasoned well & breading was falling off, shrimp were small, coleslawwas inedible, fries were great. Seafood Gumbo - barely any seafood and shrimp was very chewy - like squeaky chewy and was noteven a gumbo - tasted like a watered down spicy beef gravy with add-ins. Hushpuppies as you can see were burnt - they lookedburnt and tasted burnt. The waitress tried to convince us that's how they come. We asked, "burnt?" She said I'll get themanager, manager said that's how they come and it may have been the oil but she doesn't know. We won't be back and at astaggering $35 that left us very underwhelmed and wondering if we should've even found this Lost Cajun. ***Also to note - Tripadvisor listed this place as #1 for 2022 - Not quite Read more

We were too excited to find this place to be disappointed the way we were. I see why this place is called the Lost Cajun. I'm... from New Orleans and this place is a disgraceful joke ???? I spent over $30 bucks for food I did not like. The beignets are noteven authentic, like what the heck! The gumbo was tasteless, the fish was fried wayyy too hard and it just wasn't a goodexperience. From the moment I walked in I was greeted nicely, didn't wait long for the appetizers and the okta reminds me of home ( Texas)... which is a must have if you never been south but curious of taste. Service has been on point despite business booming on thenight I came which means it's great every night, I would love to see more drink selections regarding frozen margaritas andcocktails. So after having the fish and fried shrimp platter I was amazed but no amazed by the bill. I know it's pricey but aslong as you think it's worth it. Read more

I was disappointed in coming here. Be warned they don't have a full bar. I am not much of a beer drinking so we ended up only... getting a couple appetizers. We got the boudin balls and the spicy cajun sasuage. They were OKAY at best. Not bad but not greateither. The place was built more like a cafeteria, the atmosphere was lacking and didn't feel very clean. The employees werenice and doing there best just the overall experience was a bit lack luster Read more
