This place is definitely a hidden jewel. Highly recommend their green chili.. is out of this world.
Sad that the folks here started skimping and getting greedy. Used to love eating here but no more. Chicken taco plate gives you... 3 tacos and maybe a combined 2 ounces of chicken spread to all 3. Avoid! Salad is Not Fresh Tamales are Dry & small with very little meat?. I absolutely Will Not eat at this particular location... of Tamale Kitchen nor any of the others quite frankly. I know first hand as I grew up near the one on Mississippi & Sheridan asthey haven?t been good for quite some time either honestly & sadly. Love Tamale Kitchen. Food is great. My go to is the smothered deluxe TK Burger with fries burrito ???? We used to get the family... pack but they raised the price and you don't get as much food in my opinion. Read more
Well another morning where I'm waiting 10 minutes in a drive through to get a breakfast burrito and there's only two people in... front of me. They cover up their window with paper so you won't see the lady texting on her phone or making a phone call andyour food just sitting their. They may even forget your salsa then charge you a $1.00 for a small cup. I paid $5.00 for thisburrito that's just potato and cheese that's no bigger then a taco bell burrito. And look at the quality of these potatoes,fried potatoes in a breakfast burrito, disgusting....seriously....come on Tamale kitchen!!! You can do better then that!!! Youcan tell this establishment is family run and there's no one overseeing operations that's creating and accountability systemgeared towards the guest experience. Place sucks. Do not get the taco salad it doesn't have meat it doesn't have the typical she'll and tons and tons and tons of freaking water... in it!!!!!!! So gross after waiting in that line forever. Don't call it taco salad call it water n lettuce nachos!!! Coloradodoesn't have the best Mexican food as it is not compared to Texas or Cali but jeez this is the worst in the whole state.
