We had great experience here, (2 times this week end). The wonton noodle (mì hoành thánh) I rate 5 stars. The bánh ??t tôm... cháy I rate 4.9 stars. They're all so delicious. Nice customer service. We can't help to come back to try other delicious foodfrom this great restaurant. We will come back for more. We will recommend this place to my relatives, friend, and everybody weknow. Read more
We are visitors from out-of-town. We ordered a vegetarian dish , the special of the house, and banh cong. We were happy with... the 1st 2 entrees. The quality of the food itself was good. There are 2 reasons I gave 3 stars . First: the menu had amistake and the waitress couldn't understand english though she was very nice. I tried to tell her that the menu states banhcong comes with shrimp but there was no shrimp. The other reason for the 3 stars was the fish sauce was too sweet. Read more

We were craving bánh cu?n and wanted to give Bánh Cu?n Tây H? #2 a try, since the last time we visited was almost a decade... ago. Two weeks ago we came but couldn't find a parking space. Came back last week they were closed on Thursday. So happy therewas parking space, and they were opened today. We ordered two #1 house special combo bánh cu?n and one bò viên bowl. Thebánh cu?n presentation was awesome, the portions look generous, and the prices were very reasonable. Too bad we wish we couldsay the same for the food. On the bánh cu?n's plate, there were plenty of cucumbers, blanched bean sprouts, very few cilantro,and no evidence of mints, fried onions, or tofu. One "big" (roll?) bánh cu?n nhân th?t (pork steam rice roll), and one verysmall bánh cu?n tôm cháy (dried fried & ground shrimp?) on top, cut into 3/4 small strips. A bánh c?ng (deep-fried mung beancake), a small portion of bánh tôm c? ng? (fried sweet potato yam with shrimp). Six (or eight?) Thin slices of giò (porksteamed sausage), and there were not any ch? l?a (pork fried sausage). We were expecting to see small rolls of varieties ofplain, pork, and either fresh/finely chopped or fried/ground shrimp. With more than half of the plate filled with cucumbers andbeansprout, it's very misleading the name "combination bánh cu?n" here! Needless to say, there weren't many bánh cu?n to try,we nibbled on the ONE roll of bánh cu?n, and it failed to deliver any distinctive taste, it was pretty bland andaverage. Bánh c?ng tasted old, dried, and not crunchy as it should be. Bánh tôm c? ng?.... what can I say? With only onetiny shrimp mixed in the yam, it should be called "sweet potatoes fries" to avoid insulting the traditional Vietnamese way ofcooking bánh tôm c? ng? and its famous sweet and savory taste. The meatball soup was a joke! Take 5 frozen meatballs, cutthem in half, throw them in boiling water, dropped in a pinch of salt, toss in a few cut chives, and cilantro, and called thatsoup...lol Read more
