I love this place! Best Italian food period. The chef and owner, Antonio is from Naples and is kind, thoughtful and super... talented! I cannot recommend it more! My son loves the homemade gnocchi that he asks for with ragu?. Everyone loves the pizzaand I adore the it salads. There?s truly something for everyone. It?s not a fast food Italian , so it?s not cheap, but it?s fairwhen you know that the chef goes to the market and handpicks everything fresh and the quality go the ingredients is superb! Read more

Definitely the best Italian restaurant in the Conejo Valley. A creative menu with some excellently prepared dishes, amazing... homemade pasta, and wood fired pizza. The branzino is probably the best I've had anywhere. They also have some truly great winesin reserve and a wonderful and inviting staff make this place truly a gem. Do yourself a favor and get a table here! Read more

What a delicious lunch spot! This is truly the best place for a quick bite. Their plates are huge and they give you more than... enough food, which is great to take home! Highly recommend! Read more

How have I not been here yet! I loved everything about this place. The service, the menu, the food and the ambiance. We ordered... the polpete (meatballs), caccio y pepe pasta, 2 pizzas and the dessert calzone. Everything is just as you'd want it to be if youwere in a cafe in Italy. Highly recommend. It's even worth the drive if you are not local. Read more

Met my friend here for lunch to celebrate my birthday. I wanted Italian food because it's my favorite but also because I just... got back from a cruise to Italy and wanted to keep eating Italian food. I was hoping to try some homemade pasta and perhaps somechicken parmigiana or eggplant parmigiana but I felt it was just too hot to eat something that hot and heavy while eatingoutside in the heat. (My friend and I both love being outdoors so we decided to eat on their patio, complete with umbrellas, despite the heat) We both decided to order the Quinoa Salad and the focaccia bread. OK, I am very picky about my focaccia andthis was absolute perfect! It was served warm, a bit crispy and seasoned perfectly! They had a high-quality olive oil to dip ourbread in. This is an absolute 'must to order'! Our salad was served chilled (as salads should be served) with fresh, crispingredients. The citrus vinaigrette accompanied the salad beautifully and had just the right amount of dressing and didn't makeit "soggy". The serving was generous and neither of us could finish ours. After our lunch we ordered 2 affogotos (my first timehaving one). They brought out our affogotos and a birthday pasty. Our servers sang Happy Birthday in Italian!!! I absolutelyloved that! The affogoto was scrumptious and it was perfect in the heat. It was a scoop of gelato with espresso poured over it.YUMMY! The birthday pastry (complete with birthday candle :) ) was flaky with something that tasted like Nutella. It wasdelicious! As we were finishing our dessert, the owner, Antonio, came out to introduce himself and wish me a Happy Birthday. Itold him how wonderful our lunch was and how I just got back from a cruise to Italy. He told us how he grew up on the Amalficoast and worked in a restaurant in Positano before going to culinary school. I enjoyed our brief interaction with him and knewwhy I loved this restaurant...it truly felt like Italian hospitality! I plan on coming back for the fresh past Read more

First, the bad?the restaurant is in an upscale strip mall sandwiched between a bagel shop and gyro shop. We were seated outside... (for our anniversary) virtually in front of the closed bagel shop, right next to a trash can. Within minutes the water broughtthe wine we ordered and as he was opening it, a very homeless person was rummaging through the trash can less than 3 feet frommy wife. Angrily he would grab at food in the trash can and threw a few fries in our direction. Our feelings of grief andsadness for this situation did not make for a pleasant dining experience. The service was quick and pleasant, but we seemed tohave at least four or five servers attending to our service which created a sense of inconsistency. That said, the food was verygood, but the owners might think about improving the logistics to ensure all diners receive the same wonderful experience. Thegnocchi was good, but the $27.50 price was quite steep, especially for a restaurant in a strip mall with homeless peoplescavenging through nearby trash cans. Read more
