A really delicious, dependable, and casual seafood restaurant. There are 4 locations in the valley, but this is the only... location I have been to, but I imagine the other 3 are very similar. The inside is a classic California casual design completewith many flat screens near the bar and lit fireplaces in the dining area with many different seating options. The service isalways polite and the food comes out within 15 minutes, or less. Parking is also easy and plentiful. Tonight I chose theVeracruz Seafood Stew, which I have had before, and really enjoyed it. I wish they would put more fish and less veggies in it,but a warm stew on a cold night really hits the spot. For my entree I chose a classic West Coast dish: The Sand Dabs. It camewith 3 good sized filets and plenty of picatta sauce on top. I would definitely order both items again and would recommendboth. Overall a really delicious and casual spot. I would say it?s especially suited for dinner with friends or family and isnot quite a date or business dinner location, but whatever the occasion is Lure will deliver. I will be back again. Yummy fish tacos for Happy Hour. They have 3 taco options: grilled fish ($6), Baja fish ($6) or blackened salmon ($7) and you... get only 1. All happy hour items are seafood. Happy hour cocktails are $12 (a $2 discount). Overall, the happy hour menu is moreexpensive than what I'm accustomed to for happy hour prices Read more

Definitely a top spot for crab cakes, popcorn shrimp, charbroiled oysters, and lobster & crab ravioli! I wish I could have tried... more dishes in one visit! The Pomegranate lemonade and peach lemonade were tasty, as well as the peach bellini. Servers werefriendly and attentive as well. Will return on our next visit to Thousand Oaks. Read more

Random decision to go here. Was worth the trip. All the main dishes we ordered were delicious, tasteful. We had Linguine with... clams & Lure Cioppino. The appetizers were just ok, crispy calamari and the spicy seafood ceviche. We definitely be back toother Lure restaurants and try their other dishes. The vibe at this location was great. Greeters were nice, wait time wasn?ttoo long (weekday), the restaurant had nice decor. They have outdoor/patio seating. Parking is terrible tho, it took us 10minsto find a spot on a weekday which I?m guessing had to do with the other restaurants in the area that are also well knownlocally. Read more

Came in here specifically for the oysters. They're great, fresh. The people at the Oyster Bar are definitely helpful in helping... you decide which to choose. I do love their main bar area. It's a huge Square which engulfs the center of the restaurant. Fora happy hour scene, this place is "okay," but wish they had better happy hour specials and pricing. Fish tends to be expensive,so keep that in mind. If the management of this chain can work on a better Happy Hour menu, with both food and beveragespecials, I'd be willing to revisit, and reassess to possibly five stars. The layout in here is really clean and tidy. Youdefinitely feel like you're walking into a classy place, not some discombobulated Seafood Broiler, if you remember those fromback in the day. Depending on the day, and time of day, parking can be really easy, or pain in the neck. Usually the parkinglot is packed because of the hotel right next door, and other places within feet. Read more

The service was extremely friendly, and the food was good. Expect the prices to be a little on the higher side (my salad was... $16). Complimentary bread and butter, and you can ask for olive oil and balsamic vinegar. There are about 4 vegetarian dishes (3are salads) as far as I'm aware. Read more

The first time I had Lure fish house was in Santa Barbara, and it left me with a good first impression! And the Westlake village... location did not disappoint as well. Also, I am really impressed by the service here. A big shout out to our server Matthew, whowas not only attentive and accommodating, but also very thoughtful and sweet! As for the food, all pretty good! I honestlyenjoyed their lobster and crab ravioli, it was creamy with a good amount of seafood. I still can taste some bigger pieces ofcrab and lobster, that was really a good dish. They don't really have a wide selection of oysters to choose from, basically only2 options: Fanny bay & Eastern oysters (yeah they didn't really tell us which kind). I enjoyed them both but I liked the Easterncollections better. They were slightly briny & sweet, smooth with a very good ocean aftertaste! Great fresh oysters. We alsoordered the crispy fish sandwich and the veracruz fish chowder, both were also very good. Good atmosphere and great overallflavors! Read more

Inside seating was spacious and the food was good. Our server was attentive and quick to take our order and check on us. The... chips to the guacamole were a little stale, they didn?t have the crunch I would have expected. The calamari was pretty greatthough, not chewy and very flavorful. The drinks were well portioned and delicious. I was not pleased with the swordfish, butthe spicy shrimp linguini was good and so was the creamed corn side and the lobster and crab ravioli. I would come back againbut I would order differently. Read more
