Great venue for having a wedding reception on the third floor. My best bud, Stew and Jennifer tied the knot today. Perfect size... for 60 people. Clean, wheel chair accessible, and great food! Famous Fish & chips are their signature dish, especially withtheir tartar sauce. Everything was delicious, including the French fries, yams, chicken breast, green beans, salad and dinnerrolls? but don?t forget to leave room for the CARROT CAKE! The absolute best I?ve ever eaten in my life! delicious! Read more

The Old Bag of Nails in Westerville is a must go. The restaurant is located in Westerville where there are tons of shops and old... buildings on the street. The restaurant itself is located in an old building, with possibly original floors and ceilings. Ourservers are always nice and they were patient with my wife while she sampled some of the seasonal brew options. It is abeautiful old building both on the outside and interior. Very well maintained, good sanitation practices and overall a greatestablishment. All I have to say is come hungry though because when you get Fish and Chips they give you two big battereddelicious filets. I tried the Eddie Style battering for the first time. It has a kick to it but dip it in the beer cheese, ranch and buffalo sauce combination and it is a great fish for dipping. I also recommend the pickle spears they do come in sixbut only pictured four because well they are so hard to not eat at first. I am not much of a pickle person, but I do like friedpickles though. What I like about the pickle spears is that they are not too vinegary, bitter, salty, slimey or too sweet. Thebatter makes the pickle just right and I recommend the beer cheese to dip them in. My wife did try their seasonal applecinnamon beer non IPA brew. It was good and reminded her of an apple cider with a hint of spice from the cinnamon at the end. Ihope you can visit it soon and while you are there check out the small businesses on the street. My recommendation is Shirley'sif you want to feel nostalgic and get gourmet fresh popped assorted popcorn. Read more

It had been kind of hot or miss lately, I realize some food may not travel well- and order accordingly. I also now realize their... website is extremely behind in pricing updates. The person on the phone taking my order wasn't aware of the polices around thebusiness lunch specials and we have gotten different answers all 3 times we have gotten it to go. This meal was a very soggybun, the meat and peppers tasted unseasoned. The fries were dry so I gave them to my husband which is why you see more in 1container than the other. At this time the business lunch special is $14 So the added value is you get a drink free, as thePhilly cheesesteaks and fries is menu priced at $14, sadly the sandwich and hard cider weren't worth the price point. I amgiving them a mid rating because it really has been all or nothing the last few times we have eaten inside or gotten take away. The benefit to eating there is I can send it back. Read more

I write this as someone who is understanding and has 5 years of experience in the industry* My boyfriend and I came to eat here... on 09/17 for a date night. We came because we had a wonderful experience at the Worthington location and wanted to see this one. When we came in we requested a booth, but said it?s okay if none are avaliable. The host said ?let me clean one for you,? cameback, slapped two menus on the table behind the host stand and said ?you are going to sit here? and walked away, said nothingelse. Our server, Hannah, greeted us promptly and took our order. We ordered one appetizer and 2 entrees. It took 40+ minutesfor the food to come out. Our entrees came out first. The server apologized and asked if we still wanted the appetizer. I saidsure. All of my food was cold. My boyfriends food was barely warm. However, we did not complain about this. Our server was verykind, awesome, and you could tell she was working very hard and trying her best. We didn?t want to stress her out or beannoying. The appetizer came as we were taking our last bites of our entrees. Our server was awesome and comped the appetizer(we didn?t request this) but we?re thankful. Hannah was amazing and helpful. My biggest issue was the host. She was so rude. Not only to me but multiple other people who had came in. My partner and I overheard other tables talking about it as well. Shebarely, if at all, welcomed people. She looked so angry the entire time and like it was the last place she wanted to be. A fewtimes when someone came and asked for help she rolled her eyes and walked away annoyed and mad. 90% of the time she was at thehost stand she was playing on her cell phone. I would not recommend this location. My boyfriend and I will not be returning, wewill go to the Worthington location instead. Read more

This was a return to a place I have been to before in Westerville. My fish and chips were slightly over done and my meal was... quickly replaced and I did receive a surprise comp to my meal which was unexpected. Kylee my server was very pleasant, professional and customer focused. I appreciate all that was done for me today and would encourage others to go. Recommended. Read more
