Dishonest business practices. I made two separate pick-up orders online and I noticed that on each order, they charged me an... extra $1.10 on my credit card for no apparent reason. This charge didn't show up anywhere on the order receipt, but it camelater as an extra charge on my credit card with no explanation. I wanted to find out what the charge was for, so I calledcustomer service. They told me that it was because I selected "extra sauce under the cheese" under the special instructions tabfor each of the 2 pizzas I ordered. But the problem is that there is no charge indicated when you make that selection online -so you are led to believe that it's free to have a little extra sauce under the cheese - since that is listed as a "specialinstruction" with no extra charge incurred. Donatos should indicate that you are being charged at the time you make thepurchase, so you're aware of the full charges - not after you've already made the order. It's dishonest to charge the customerfor things that are listed as being free. Customer service was not very friendly or forgiving when I spoke with them. It'sreally just a matter of principle, and making the customer feel valued. Unfortunately, Donatos failed to make it right or tomake me feel valued, and I won't be coming back. Read more
Probably the WORST pizza crew and location I?ve ever visited bar none. Wednesday Night. NOT BUSY. 5 staff in the restaurant. ... No customers. One behind me in the drive thru. Spent TEN minutes (no exaggeration) watching the crew with their ipods in theirears ignore the drive up window. Called location?no answer. Answer and put on hold?while on hold I got out. Honked. Beat onthe window. NOPE. I had to park and go inside. No kidding. Still took these people another TEN MINUTES to get the pizza thesandwich and two salads packaged and ready. $37 for this order. I get home?less than five minutes away?(1.2 miles) pizza isSTONE COLD. Salads? NO salad dressing. Sandwich? Barely warm. Used our own salad dressing and the dogs ate the thirty dollarMESS I paid for. Staff was rude, inattentive and seemed annoyed to be there. Location was clean but deserted. Food was AWFUL. Like a Junior High cooking class on day one of the semester. Drove two states holding off to have Donato?s rather than eatsomewhere else. What a mistake. Nothing like what I remembered Donato?s to be. Generic strip mall over priced poor qualitybadly prepared pizza. I?ve had frozen pizza that tasted better and was HOT. Meatball sub was INCREDIBLY SMALL. Like a child?ssize. Soggy. Gross sauce. Meatballs grainy and not best quality. Salads?also INCREDIBLY SMALL. Side salad at best not a meal. No idea on the dressing as we weren?t given any. Go ANYWHERE else. Seriously. Read more
I never really leave Google reviews but this location is simply amazing! I love the service , the friendliness, the ease of... placing an order, and accuracy ! My order is never messed up or forgotten. No matter who is working that day the service isconsistently exceptional ! I really appreciate that they take extra time to be thorough so that I can maintain my other tasks.They always help me when I?m in a pinch. Some people may not like the recipes but my household enjoys, especially when we wantto eat out and crave Donatos. I will be so sad if this location ever closes. Read more
I grew up eating Donatos and loved their pizza. We ordered it for the first time in years and were very disappointed. The... crust tasted undercooked and the pizza tasted like a frozen pizza. After driving 1000 miles for one of the best pizza's, I had to stop in Westerville. I was not let down in anyway. Had a large... pep, the new garlic cheese bread and Big Don . My family and I dine at this Westerville location regularly. The pizza, breads, subs, wings... everything tastes very good. The... restaurant is always clean and the whole team is always friendly and inviting. Everyone works hard to ensure their customershave a truly wonderful experience. I'm from Florida and Donatos chicken mariachi pizza is the best pizza I have ever tasted in my life. My wife put me on to it and... every time I visit Columbus ohio I have to have one. This location is a joke. They have a bunch of 14 year olds working the kitchen. All screaming/swearing at each other. I made a... delivery order?the pizzas were appalling for the amount of money I spent. Had to bring the pizzas in to get them remade anddemanded a refund.
