Went 2 times to this place thinking maybe the first time was just an anomaly. The reviews make you think this places is amazing... after all. We were disappointed both times. The stuffed mushrooms tasted like they were just past expiration. The coconutshrimp was so similar to the frozen stuff we but at trader Joe's, I thought for sure it was! We also had the eggplant Parm, theonly food that tasted freshly made! That was the first night. The second time we had chicken bites appetizer. Well, theytried..I guess. While the flavor was ok, the texture was not. Not tender. I had the scallops and garden risotto. 4 smallscallops with a beautiful sear and a drizzle of pesto, sound so good! Nope, it was over cooked and tough. The risotto was morelike mushy white rice with frozen broccoli and carrots. Hubby had baked cod with mashed potatoes and gravy.... Who puts gravyon baked fish? They do!! Again the fish was overcooked. It's our anniversary so we got tiramisu fr dessert. Presentation wasvery nice, served in a tall glass with ample whipped cream. The flavor was lacking but what really stunk was the ice crystalsthroughout. So underwhelming. The only good thing was the drinks! Read more

My fiancée and I came to grey sail brewing company and tried pizza from the vetranos pizza truck. Pizza turned out beautiful.... Great flavorful dough, great sauce and the cheese was just delicious. Some good ingredients in that pizza. Joseph made our pizzato perfection and served it to our table. Kudos Joseph. (We are from NY as well so we hold our pizza standards pretty high.Lol) Read more

My love affair started with the bread,not just ordinary bread. The bread was cooked and seasoned to perfection.it was served... with olive oil that had plenty of shaved roasted garlic in it...delicious .our fried calamari was cooked toperfection,tender,soft and delectable. The marinara sauce was out of this world. Dinner was served with a house salad. Tmygrandaughter ordered the shrimp Rivera over angel hair pasta with spinach.it was cooked all frenchessa. It was delicious.plentyto bring home. I ordered zuppa de pesci over linguine. It was amazing. Came with scallops,scungelli ,calamari,clams,mussels andshrimp,and plenty of garlic.i loved it.i would say my only negative would be I didnt find any scungelli,just 2 scallops,shrimpand 3 clams. I highly recommend this establishment.i would definitely go here again to try their other creations. One last thethe wait staff was outstanding. Our drinks were refilled without having to ask. I went here for the first time last night with my family and teen's two friends. Teen wanted to return for B'day dinner after... eating here with dad a few months ago. I was happy with the menu options, being there with so many people. My husband hadChicken Francaise and was very pleased. We ordered two pizzas, and a chicken salad. The pizza was cooked perfectly. It's myfavorite style. Our guest loved their salad. It looked amazing. We will definitely return. Make a reservation if you go on aweekend. We had to wait for a table, but they were very apologetic (no need to be, it was our fault for walking in with 6 peopleon a Saturday). Read more

I am amazed! I cant remember the last time I had such amazing service. I was quickly seated and greeted by staff. My server... Claire I believe was her name, She was so positive and attentive to us. Overall my meal was absolutely delicious and still hot.I am impressed and will be back again! Read more

It makes me really sad to write this review because Vetrano?s used to be fantastic. But I just literally threw away $70 worth of... takeout. I will say that the girl on the phone/at the desk was a real sweetheart - very pleasant! I knew my dish was going to bespicy, but it was HOT. I didn?t mind that so much as the leathery shrimp and weird flavor undertone that I couldn?t pinpoint. Mymom?s rigatoni was DROWNING in cheese, oil, and butter. You could see the oil pooling in the middle of the dish. My boyfriendhad a small hair in his fettuccine. None of us took more than a few bites before we threw it all out. Literally money in thetrash. I miss the old Vetrano?s :( so disappointed. This is our second poor experience here and we won?t be back. Read more

Great food and service, but their unpublished policy to apply automatic 20% gratuity to tables of six is ridiculous. Happy to... give great tips to great servers, but making it automatic is disappointing. Read more

In our search for great pizza in the Westerly RI area, several locals recommended for us to try Vetrano's Restaurant. We finally... got around to it and found the staff to be super-friendly (hi Leslie!). We were surprised to see that they sold pizza by theslice. We ordered the "Special Combo" pizza which comes topped with 10 different traditional toppings (6 varieties of meats plusveggies, mushroom and olives). The crust was cooked perfectly and had a nice crust and texture that reminded me of freshly bakeditalian bread. The toppings were plentiful, fresh, well balanced flavor and delicious. We're so glad we tried Vetrano's andwill be back for sure for more pizza and to try out their other lunch and dinner entrees. Read more
