We had reservations for 8:30pm. When we arrived the waitress told us that they are short staffed and to be patient. We ordered... our food. It was brought out at 10:00. The scallop entree I ordered was not cooked- the scallops were raw so I alerted thewaitress. She agreed and offered to remake the dish. We waited another 30 minutes for the food to come out. I ate a bite ofscallop only to realize that the scallops were not cooked again and were raw in the middle. I alerted the waitress again onlythe restaurant was getting ready to close. She said she could offer me a dessert on the house (which was very nice of her) butthat meant I did not get to eat dinner. I woke up at 2am that night and got sick non stop until about 8am. Avoid this placeunless you want food poisoning and slow service. Waitress was very nice but overall experience was miserable. Read more
The atmosphere was quaint, elegant and super clean inside. There were plenty of workers to serve everyone so you know the owners... take care of their workers. The food was to die for. No really! The veal chop was out of this world. The apps were on pointand the desserts.. Let's just say WOW! BEST place on Atlantic Avenue! and Westerly for that matter. Unfortunately I was dissapointed .. ordered a wine spritzer at the bar but it was served without ice or garnish .. server at... our table forgot my Caprese salad .. therefore no starter and my chicken parmesan was extremely dry. All was not lost .. theolive oil was deliciously light & floral and my husband loved his scallop entree. The numerous staff seemed to be collegestudents on summer break with little to no restaurant experience... the ambience felt chaotic. If you are looking for aquality dining experience with a seasoned staff this is not the place. .. head for fish & chips at the local seafood shack! Read more
We go to Maria's regularly, and the food is consistently superb. Drinks are made well, and the service is solid. Recently we... celebrated our anniversary and the staff, especially Emily and Lorraine, went out of their way to make it extra special. Read more
Service: Poor. It took over an hour to get our food, and almost 2 hours total. It was a hassle getting separate checks and to go... containers. Food/drinks: Acceptable. The salmon was good but everything else was overly buttery. Probably would not return. Itwas a bit overpriced. Read more

The staff welcomes you with a smile and will cater to any of your requests. You hear thesounds of the waves as you are directly across from the beach.
