This is a place you must stop at while in Westcliffe. HIGHLY RECOMMEND the wildflower or lavender frozen lemonade! They have... some of the nicest high end souvenir tees here as well as hats, stickers, campy gifts and cups. There are souvenir items thatare different than other shops in town. The dining room area is huge and when the weather is nice there are several diningtables along the sidewalk. There's a nice clean bathroom. The staff is very kind. My kids were craving for ice cream and we just walked in here. Such a nice local store. The ice cream is local made. The staffs... were so kind and nice. They have a lunch section too. Everything is freshly made. A must go if you visit Westcliffe, CO. Read more
We each got a medium two scoop cup of goodness from Sugarlump!! The scoops were quite large and I think the medium was $5.70.... Everyone was really nice, they moved quickly through the reasonable line and it was amazing ice cream. I loved the Grasshoppermint one. We appreciated the puppy treats too (small cups of whipped cream). We will come back here when we're in the area forsure! Read more
This former grocery store with tin ceiling is an absolute gem. According to the employees the building is old?at least 50 years... old. Who knows how old, but what I can tell you is it was built by a true artist. There is plenty of space. The front doorstays open. The flags sway in the wind. Note the mountain top mural on the wall above the ice cream bar. Try the food. It?svery good. Do NOT pass up on a fudge brownie affogato. You can tell the owner?s have a meticulous attention to detail, and theyare attending to a perfect place for ice cream, coffee, tea, or a bite to eat. Read more
When we make our way out here, this is our go-to sandwich stop! Great food, delicious ice cream. I recommend the coconut flavor... & the Bakti Chai is so good and spicy! Friendly staff & neat items/trinkets all around the spot. **Always greet your customers& acknowledge their presence, even if there?s a wait. Our first time going in the experience was about a 3 star because no onegreeted us while we stood there for about 10 - 15 min & the girls seemed a bit frantic. Just remember to say hello. Even a smilegoes a long way! When it gets busy, we as customers DO understand. But if you don?t acknowledge people when they are waiting, itfeels a little weird. ;) Read more
So far I haven?t found a coffee shop that compares to sugar lump as far as cleanliness and the quality of coffee?. The friendly... staff is probably 60 percent of why I come in every morning and afternoon. I would 100 percent recommend this place over othershops in town!! Read more
Nice place and the employees were great! Very patient and helpful. Made my little fall jaunt up to Westcliffe pretty nice.
