Nice place but we did a take out. The food was okay but not the best. Maybe because of the takeout the food was not hot by the... time we got to a place to eat. Masala dosa have good quantity of dosa and side dishes, but the idli and vada combo was a ripoffbecause there was two idli and one vada which was expensive than the masala dosa. We drove all the way from Burlington skipping many Indian restaurants on the way because we like woodland. Always had good... experience dining here but today the lady at the counter refused to give us a table when at least 4 tables were available. Neverhad such an awful experience at woodland, previous staff was better and cared about customers. Her behavior was unprofessionaland rude, could have handled better. 2 stars for food. Read more
We had an awful experience at Woodlands tonight. Went to pick up dinner & after waiting an extra 10-15 minutes they gave us our... food & discovered 1 of our three items was missing. The man working actually asked me if I needed it or if that was okay that Ididn't have it. I told him we wanted it and after another 15 minutes he had someone put something together that was not what weordered. It was supposed to be Dahi Puri but instead they gave us empty shells with two small containers of yogurt and a coldpotato filling. No chickpea, neither of the chutneys. No masala yogurt, no spices. By the time we got home all of our foodwas cold, not great and the portion sizes where very small. I brought the Dahi Puri back to try to get a refund and was toldthere was nothing they could for me. In Person: Strongly recommend that you visit at least 1-2 hours earlier than your usual visit times, as things get busy on... weekend evenings. The water is always at room temperature so if you need iced water then you have to ask for it. Food deliverytakes time. The waiters are usually the owner's family members so please be courteous and patient. My food took time to bedelivered on the table but then they apologized for the delay. Online: Ordered over the phone on Monday evening. The persontook the order correctly. The food was well packed and was waiting even before the collection time. The billing was doneaccurately. Coming to the food - was expecting below average food which was my experience with this place, couple of yearsago. In addition since it was a Monday evening, was expecting average food. But all items on my order was FRESH except for asweet corn soup which looked and tasted bad. The remaining items were good enough. The prices were also reasonable. Overall itis a good restaurant. I'm seeing some bad reviews from others but their situation could have been different. Anyways, thefollowing things are always expected at Indian restaurants Main course being delivered before the appetizers Long delays ingetting the food served Difficulty in getting the attention of the waiter Difficulty in getting the final bill or check. Luckilythese days they have mobile payment so you dont have to wait for the server again. Forgotten serving of dishes Some of the waitstaff are usually students or restaurant owner's family members so they have little experience.. The place is excellent for good tasty Indian food. Buffet lunch is only during weekends. Though service is good, they can... improve by being more polite while serving. When a request is made, they can always say, it will be attended to. Take aways arecommon. Covid19 protocol is followed strictly. Booking a table is always a good idea. Plenty of parking place for four wheelers.Wheelchair access is available. Credit cards accepted. Around 35+ customers can be seated at a time. Read more
We have here couple of times food is vegetarian. If you love it then do visit this restaurant in westborough town. We normally... order indo Chinese Hakka noodles and Manchuria. Love the flavors and they keep the taste every time. It does matter a lot forme. Thanks team!! Read more
Worlds worst food and customer service ever i experience. I ordered Mali khofta and other panner curry instead of that they give... me any regular water curry with non cooked panned pieces without let us know I came home called them and hotel manager sayssorry I forgot to tell you that we didn’t have this right now so instead of that we give you this curry and than I asked him Idon’t want this his offering me come back all the way back and now we have we will give you mali khofta curry after doing someback and forth call I asked for refund and curry we didn’t eat i was ready to give them back the person apologizing and toldme to refund me back my money and someone will call me next day it’s been 2 week now nobody call me looks like nobodycare. Anyway I’m going to state department of public Heath I don’t want a deal with this people anymore.. I definitely notsuggest a sign person to relieve on there service trust me. Read more
We went there couple of weeks ago after we saw their menu had a lot of gluten-free options. After we went there we were told... that the ownership had changed and the menu that was online and in the restaurant was outdated. They still managed to give us acouple of gluten-free dishes which were very tasty. Couple of suggestions to the new ownership- Please don't add gluten to yourdosa batter. By default people do not think those in Idly will contain gluten adding gluten to make it tasty can be a huge issuefor gluten sensitive folks. The waiting staff were super courteous and polite and went over and beyond in helping us over.Quantities were plentiful as well. Read more
