Reviews for Canyon Street Grill in West Yellowstone, MT
We had just exited the west entrance of Yellowstone after cruising by Buffalo and tourist alike. The food satiated my hunger and... the atmosphere was pleasant. It reminded me a bit of pulp fiction with the 5 dollar milk shake. Read more
Great 50's theme Get transported back in time with the 50's style diner. The decor and the music can take you right back. The... service was great. The food is great comfort food, plenty of non healthy options. Recommend the huckleberry milkshake to add tothe tourist calories. Read more
The food and service here are awesome! Good quality on food items and cooked to perfection. Serving sizes are also good. ... Highlights of the meal were the beer battered fries and tatortots which were fried and salted exactly right as well as the honeymustard sauce which had to have been made in house or just an extremely delicious brand. Oh and that little deep fryer basketfor the tots...adorable. ???? Read more
Good value, unbelievably friendly customer service (even for West Yellowstone where so many people seem happy and friendly).... They don't squawk about special orders, so just tell them what you want and they'll do their best. Order your burger on thesourdough toast because they do it well. The fish (with chips) was meh--definitely just frozen--but still OK. Stick with burgersor sandwiches that they make fresh for you. The restaurant was fully staffed (a miracle in June 2022) and sparkling clean. YESTHEY HAVE A RESTROOM, despite the signs. Just ask for the code. It, too, was clean--probably because they control access to it.Anyway, 5 stars for customer service even alone, as they really shine at that. Plus good food. Read more
Well worth going to. Not as well advertised as some of the other places in Yellowstone which was nice as we didn?t have to wait.... I had the the soup of the day tomato basil. Homemade and very very good. I also had fish and chips. The 4 pieces of fish werebattered in the restaurant not from the freezer. I generally don?t have fries but I was happy I did. They were home made as waseverything I had. My wife had a house salad and homemade chili. She said both were very good. We were there on 6/12/2022. I hadthe leftover over fish today 6/13/2022. Still very good. Not over priced and good value. Staff we friendly and what we alwaysappreciate is that we didn?t have to wait long to get our bill. If we ever get to Yellowstone again we will go again.Enjoy!!???? Read more

If your looking for a time warp back in time then this is the place for you. The 50s music and the menu is great. Of course they... had the awesome milkshakes (which I didn't get but I should of) they have a little something for everyone of all tastes. I hadthe bo diddley which came with a fried egg. I think it could of been better with sunny up but it was good nonetheless. My gfhad the chicken strips which she liked. The mozzarella sticks were great and you got that good cheese pull when you bite intoit. Def a place to go. Read more
Great diner. Great location. Right on the main strip (with the shops). It is 50's style decor with big booths and a few... tables. We went with the whole family, kids included. Everyone seemed to enjoy their choices. Standard burgers, chickenfingers, sandwiches. All were good. Good portions (you won't leave hungry). Maybe a bit pricey for a diner.. but consistentwith the other places we went during our stay. Location and service help to justify. The food came pretty quick despite ourbig group being there during the lunch rush. Perfect spot to have lunch while shopping the town. Pro-Tip: Don't sleep on theOnion Rings. CON: Sodas and Iced Tea were $3.50/each. So we just had water. Read more
