From start to finish. Hostess was accommodating! Waitress was fine at the beginning, but skewed up our order with sides. My... husband ordered the baked Cod, said was, just good. I ordered the prime rib and it was like meat that is pre-cooked in plastic. I had already starting eating my dinner, then the ?manager? or whatever he was, asked me if I wanted another piece, I replied,no! For drinks and munchies, ok place. Read more
I enjoyed most of my meal which was a steak quesadilla but had ordered a basket of Parmesan fries to go along with it, didn't... not like them at all. My friend had the fish and chips, she really enjoyed the fish. Our waitress was very friendly and theservice was fast. I would eat here again. Read more
I would like to give a big shout out to the Loft and their amazing hosts Kathy and Kevin. My son was getting married on the... Cape and we wanted to have a rehearsal dinner with a bit of a Cape Cod vibe. Kathy went out of her way to ensure we got exactlywhat we wanted. The menu was perfect with passed lobstah sliders her famous mushrooms and shrimp cocktail cooked just right.Main course was buffet style with clam Chowdah that was fantastic, an amazing cod and some barbecue chic with corn on the coband a salad. We had about 40 people for dinner ? set up was great providing just enough separation from other guests then oncedinner was over many of our weekend guests were able to join the celebration?. The Host of the outdoor venue is angry and aggressive. He started yelling and trying to pick a fight with my group. All because... we didn't have a reservation, and had been seated at the bar by staff. We will not being going back, and will tell everyone weknow not to go. Read more
The waitress was rude right from the get go, and then never wrote down our order. She just figured she knew what it was, I... guess. Asked for no mushrooms, because my husband really cannot stand them, and his tiny portioned steak tip meal that came withonly 3 little pieces of steak was loaded with them. Food was well prepared and good but entrees felt incomplete without bread and/or salad and overpriced compared to others in the... area. Kids menu lacks any vegetable option. Fountain drinks weren't quite right. We were a family of 5 ordering entrees andbeverages, no appetizers or alcohol and bill came to $131.00 before tip. We came for drinks and appetizers. Their martini's are really good. We had an order of the scallops w/ bacon, and it was very... small in size for price. The waitstaff was overwhelmed with crowd at times, as it took awhile to get service. The live band wasnice and really got the crowd dancing. As we stayed at the Cove, we went on Sunday. I gave 3*** because of the food only :Hamburger was bad(no taste, overcooked) worse... than tastee McD & BurgK. My Pastrami Ruben meat was fair(would not order again). The server was very nice, all along, feelingnot rushed. The atmosphere was 4-5 stars. After reading most reviews, take things off the menu or improve them to get betterfood reviews. My take on the food reviews is, 1)the seafood seems to be tastiest but $$$, not $$ as web shows. 2)the potatoesfries underperform-bad. I would not return for lunch or dinner, just drinks. Read more
