Went in to buy a pack of cigarettes. I?m 33 with a approved Utah state ID. Owen, the night shift attendant wouldn?t sell to me.... I had him call the manager who called the district manager. Her name is Melissa. This was at 1am and because it was so late shedidn?t want the manager to deal with the situation so she told me she had the right to refuse service. Poor customer service andpoor managerial response and ethics. I?m usually in this store 5-7 times a week. Will never be going back nor will I ever shopat maverik again. Read more

This place gave my husband a nightmare of a time trying to buy cigarettes even after I came back with my ID. Kicked us off the... premises even though we both had our valid licenses. Will never be going back. Bad customer service and impatient people. I haveno respect for the way they handled the situation. Read more

My grandpa and I broke down there last Friday (7/29/22) his car was smoking and I was stressed out as I am his driver and he... just broke a few ribs a few days prior. The two female attendants there were so amazing. I got the one girls name, Brandy, but Ididn?t get the redheads name. Anyway, without even asking for help Brandy came out and brought u a few bottles of water then theother girl came out a few minutes later and helped me check my transmission fluid and oil. She then took me inside, found theoil I needed, opened a register to help me, and then came outside to help me out the oil in the van!!!! WE NEED MOTE PEOPLE LIKETHIS IN THE WORLD!!! It took ten min of their day to totally change mine and to make my stress go away. PLEASE!!! IF A HIGHER UPSEES THIS RATING, GIVE THESE LADIES WELL DESERVED RECOGNITION FOR THEIR ACTS OF KINDNESS. I am a very loyal Maverick customer. In this particular visit, I filled up my car and then took $20 out of the ATM. Normally,... I can approach the register and have the attendant exchange it for $10 and two $5 bills (a pretty simple service for havingspent $100 on gasoline and $3.50 at the ATM.) Not only did the cashier require that I purchase something additional, she did itvery condescendingly. I understand the rationale behind her asking for this but have we really come to the point where I alsoneed to buy something in the store after gasoline and ATM fees? Read more

Went in 7/20/20 with my mask on. Signs on the door and at the register stating they are required by the state. 5 out of 6 other... customers without masks. I asked the cashier why they aren't enforcing it and was told "it's a state requirement but Mavericktold them not to say anything to customers". Good job Maverick, quick way to lose a long time customer. Read more

Just went to this loo location, and on both doors reads" NO MASK NO SERVICE"!! Turned back around went and got a mask went back... into the store, made my purchase. Right after me in walks two Hispanics (not making this an racial issue) neither of them hadmasks and nothing was said to them, they made thier purchase then left. What is good for one person should be good for all, whata joke!! Happened today 6/28/2020 @ around 9:32 am. Read more

We normally love Maverick gas stations, today has changed our entire opinion of them. My husband stopped to grab a bottle of... water and get some cash out, he only wanted $15 the extremely rude old hag that was working the register needs to be fired. Hewalks up with his water and asks if they still do cash back, her response was, "yes but not really" he explains that he onlyneed $15 and she rudly cuts him off and says, "Well our limit is $20 its not like we are a bank" she is the worst rep we haveever dealt with and should not be allowed to treat customers this way. I will be reaching out to her manager tomorrow. This is abig let down. Read more

I pulled to to get fuel in my truck. The gasoline pump handle had a bag on it to suggest it was out of order. That is were the... good experience went wrong. My truck takes diesel, that pump did not have a bag on it. I proceed with the fueling process withmy maverick card, and the pump says to remove nozzle. Nothing happed I used the call attendant button several times. Nothing. Oknow a little frustrated i put the pump handle back and drive to the front of the store to talk with an associate about my issue.He looked on his computer and said oh there is nothing charged. I suggest that if someone pulled up they would be able to fuelup as is still read remove nozzle. By this time there are 2 associates helping me. The gentlemen suggests all he can do is toput a bag on it. The lady associate suggests that she should go fill up her car. Haha it would have been funny if there was somesympathy and or apology and a solution to the problem. No one was willing to walk out and look or do anything about it. As Idrove away there was no associate taking action to the issue. I really hope that someone cant just fill up. Normally I havegreat experience with this company.
