We're busy and it felt like they only had two surfers that day on a Saturday for lunch. The food was great I can't remember what... I got at this point, The margaritas were good. Our server was awesome! We waited a little bit for the service but he was worththe wait! Read more

I usually have amazing service here but recently on July 28th, 2022 we had a server named Antonio who was unfriendly and for... some reason, must have been having a terrible day. He came to take the order and and someone else brought the food. He nevercame to check on us once nor filled our drinks. We asked another server in the restaurant to assist, I forgot her name but shebrought us chips and salsa, refilled the waters and also napkins and apologized that Antonio was busy that day. Antonio shouldnot have been there if he was having a rough day - we tracked him down to bring us the check and he never asked how anythingwas. When we went to check out and pay, the employee asked how everything was and was explained to him what happened above &they said ?oh I?m sorry? and that was it. Definitely will think twice about coming back here. One bad experience is not going tobe a typical thing I hope here. Not good at all. Update: went back October 13th for another try and guess what? I got the sameservice Antonio - lol so it turns out - his attitude is the same - was not having a bad day the first time I was there - he justnot a good server and still left drinks empty. Food is good but service is terrible with this guy. Management is no where to befound - wouldn?t mind if this placed closed down as there are other places out there that provide both good food and service. Ilook for both. Read more

The salsa for the chips seemed to be tomatoes, onions and cilantro - spice level: zero. Disappointing. The Chili Verde Burrito... was bland. I dare say they use canned Chili Verde and don't make their own. I didn't taste any heat in any of the food.Disappointing. I really wanted to like this place because the atmosphere is so cool with the fountain and big open dining room, but the food has no flavor. It's tasteless. Prices are cheap compared to other restaurants like it. Read more

The food was good and the prices were reasonable ($10-$20 per plate). It was very busy, but service was quick and our waitress... was very good at checking on us. My cup was never empty. :) Food was decent, and man they brought a lot of it. Come hungry! Read more

My family and I have been customers for years. But we will not return again! We picked up an order to go. At the bottom of our... chip bag was a set of mouth retainers. We called the manager and she denied anyone wore retainers before investigating furtheror trying to see if any employees wore a mouth piece or if there may have been a change in staff. We are sick to our stomachthat someone would even do that and concerned about our health. Come Monday morning when the health department opens, we arereporting la fountain. This is the worst experience and it's sad, it makes us worried about eating out now because of onerestaurant. Just hoping we do not get sick or something worst. Read more

Just average food. The tortilla on the burrito tasted like it was from the grocery store. I got the small combination, Cheese... enchilada was good, everything else was very average. Read more

Everything was great except food , got one menudo plate and a grilled chicken burrito. Service was great and place is nice but... the food was mediocre at best plain no flavor and no contrast at all is just like if it was made without caring a single butabout the food quality or the costumer experience. I would not choose this food over many other options even if it was halfprice of what I paid Read more

I love good Mexican food, even when it's Tex-Mex. My spouse can usually find something she likes at a Mexican place, but she... isn't a huge fan of Mexican. I had heard I would love this place, so we gave it a try. I generally like to give a place asecond try, but we probably won't be going back here. The tortilla chips that come out with the meal were seasoned. I enjoyedthem, but my spouse couldn't handle them because of the spice. My spouse ordered chicken strips and fries. They came out tastingof burned oil. The fries were soggy. It was obvious the oil was old and should have been changed at least one day prior. Theywere not well prepared. I ordered the daily special on a Saturday, a chili verde burrito, smothered in chili verde, with beansand rice. I ate half of the burrito. I felt like something was off about it, but the flavor was good. I thought maybe I was justconcerned about her order. I brought the food home and ate it for lunch the next day. My picture, from when I finished it,shows the problem. This burrito had little or no meat in it. I felt like it was 90% tortilla and a little bit of pork. Maybe itwas the special, maybe that's just how they serve food. Regardless of why, they're just wasn't much meat in the burrito. All inall it just wasn't a fantastic dining experience. There are plenty of people that love to eat here so don't ignore them basedon my review. Give them a try and see if you like it. Read more
