Props to the single bartender that was running the whole show. She had to keep all the patrons happy, glasses full, and come... out to the floor and take food orders from people like my wife and I that came for dinner. The food came pretty quickly. Shehad the fish and chips, and I had the crispy chicken sandwich. Mine was sized well and tasty. She commented that her breadedfish was better than the fish she got at another restaurant last week. We both got too many fries and ended up tossing overhalf away. They do not have brewed ice tea, which was surprising for a bar. Only the Fanta stuff from the soda dispenser. Wedid love all the old photos of West Sac they have on the wall, but we will probably not be back. Just too noisy in there. Mostly because the ceiling and walls reflect all the racket, there is nothing to absorb the sound. Read more

Small bar. Visited after the Van Gogh experience. Not many people at the time, but the outside had big area. It may get busy at... certain times. Are the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. Wife had clam chowder. Good food with a beer, Space Dust! Read more
2nd time here, since new ownership. Stopped by for a night cap (on a much needed night out with the hubby) right before they... closed at about 11pm. Mind you, we googled what time they [Jefferson Bar and Grill] closed before we showed up (12pm on Google).Was told by the bartender, we ?might? be able to get a drink because the boss just pulled up in ?the white truck?. Anotherpatron spoke up (who just arrived) and seemed equally surprised that we would not be served. The bartender served us after alittle griping and we got our 1 drink at 11:02pm and then we were on our way, as they closed early. Atmosphere: Notimpressed. Not friendly. Not inviting. Recommendation: Don?t expect too much and you won?t be disappointed. Read more
I do not drink often, I wanted to grab something to eat. I ordered a medium rare Bacon Cheeseburger. Sadly there was no bacon on... the cheeseburger and it was cooked to about medium. The burger was still delicious though! I will be coming back to get my fullorder next time! The interior was great and awesome. The staff were friendly and greeted me immediately and told me I can sitanywhere. I felt very welcomed. I think with time, this place will vastly improve and have great quality food! Not sure why this place isn't packed all the time. The foods genuinely great. I get the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, sub the... protein with Crispy Chicken instead of beef. My wife likes the Fish and Chips. Read more
