I was a regular customer at JD\'s Diner, which preceded Lil\' Moon in the same building. This was my first visit under the new... ownership. The menu is about what you expect at a small diner--lots of breakfast choices, none fancy, and many burgers andsandwiches. I order the chicken fried steak breakfast. It arrived on two plates. My eggs, hash browns, and toast were on one,and the CF steak was on the other, covering most of the plate and under a generous portion of gravy. Because of the gravy, itwas difficult to tell if the meat was hand-breaded or prefab, but it tasted fresh-made. The breakfast was excellent. The twowaitstaff were busy, but checked in with me frequently to see if I needed more coffee, water, or condiments. They have a winningcombo working here. I highly recommend Lil\' Moon. Read more
Had the potential to be great. I would have happily paid more $$ for better quality salmon. The salmon was low quality and was... oversalted, and the hollandaise was extremely lemony. I love lemon, and it was too much for me. English muffin was crispywhich I loved. Husband said his sausage was good. Overall,. I think breakfast could be much better. Went there for a brunch. The service was quick and nice. We got a Big Moon Burger. It was quite a large burger. It came with... mayo, lettuce, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese. There were fries on the side. We also got a short stack of pancakes andloaded hash brown which were good. There was a motorcycle drive by that came in and filled the place up. The staff and kitchenmanaged to do well with the large influx of people. Overall, it was a great deal. Read more
Very nice workers. No complaint there. We had to wait a bit but the waitress was super nice about it and comped our drinks.\nThe... issues were with the food.\nGot the 2 egg special and a chicken tender sandwich. The potatoes on the 2 egg special were dry andthe butter on the toast must have been put on when cold because it never melted.\nThe chicken tender sandwich was supposed tocome with bacon and cheese per the menu.....it didn\'t.\nWe may give this place another try when they have been open for a bitlonger. For the price point, the food is great! I had eggs benedict. The eggs were cooked perfectly over-easy, the ham authentic,... English muffin perfectly toasted. The hollandaise sauce could be better if made from scratch. The French toast was great aswell. Whipped butter would have been better than melted. Love this Lil diner. Great for breakfast and lunch. Have tried several items on the menu all have been delicious. We have been... lucky enough to get Milayna to serve us and has been wonderful every visit. Read more
