I came here for the first time. I had a delicious BLT sandwich and my wife had a Egg Bacon goat cheese breakfast sandwich.... Everything was delicious. The sandwiches were seasoned perfectly. Our coffees were delicious. It was a nice place to come sitand eat at. Will definitely keep this place in mind when I am looking for a nice breakfast in the morning. This is definitelyworth a visit. Food was good. The staff pointed us in directions to pick up food and drinks when they were done and the seating is quaint... inside. An eclectic feel with mismatched seating and a little shop in the back. First thought was what a nice place to take awork meeting. Lattes were great. My husband tried a new raspberry flavor which was so good. Avocado toast was fresh but couldhave used a bit of flavor. The goat cheese tots were recommended by staff and wow they were so amazing. I ordered a gluten free avocado toast with extra bacon and received this. A bacon egg and cheese on oat toast. Paid $30 and when... I informed them their solution was to give me a credit of $15. Loose money for a sandwich Im not eating because they messed up.After sending a long message back stating this was my first time ordering for them, stating there was a reason I asked forgluten free toast; they finally decided to refund me my full amount. I LOVE Bold Cafe. The coffee, food, atmosphere are all 5 stars for me! However, I?ve been ordering from them on DoorDash... recently and I?ve had this happen to me twice now: ordered and was charged for a large latte and received a small latte. It?snot really a big deal but I need my LARGE coffee in the morning!! Both times I was reimbursed for the mistake but it?s justannoying and inconvenient. But I still love Bold and will continue to be a customer! Read more
Yummy coffee house with a ton of coffee flavoring selections. Lattes were good but could have used a little more flavoring but... then again I like my coffee to be a bit on the sweet side. Had a fabulous lunch at Simply Bold Cafe. The sandwiches were simply delicious. Great combination of savory and sweet. The... brioche buns are out of this world. This is a must experience gem in the Reading area. Added bonus: Feel-at-home atmosphere inthe back helps enjoy your food and coffee. You can also get some shopping done in the backroom boutique.
