The B31 Smokehouse is a comfortable spot in West Pittston with a friendly staff and a welcoming environment. We arrived on a... Friday around 7 p.m. Although there was a family already dining there, there were only about two or three tables remaining,however we did have an option to eat outside (which we declined). My girlfriend had the slow and low pulled pork sandwich,which was tender and pretty good. I had the brisket sandwich and smoked wings, which was also delicious. We also ordered a sideof fries, which was more than enough for two people. The Nashville wing dipping sauce was tangy and packed just the appropriateheat. The table was also filled with a variety of barbecue sauces, including peach, Alabama white (mayonnaise and horseradish)chipotle, the B3Q signature sauce, and many a few others, which I experimented with as I ate my meal. Nick, the owner, made usfeel right at home, and even stopped by for some pleasant conversation. An Air Force veteran who returned home to start thebusiness, gave us the brief history of the establishment, and you can tell he puts his heart and soul into hisrestaurant. If you want real deal Smoked BBQ this is your place ! I?ve tried quite a few of the other places in the area but these guys are... on point. I had there half smoked chicken and brisket combo and was not dissatisfied in anyway. The smoke ring on the chickenwas perfect and it was cooked just right very moist and juicy and the flavor was great. The Brisket was done to perfection nicebrown crust and super tender and also had a great flavor. I topped it with there signature BBQ sauce and it was perfect !!! Ohyeah can?t forget the full rack of ribs that were also cooked on point just enough smoke and tenderness was awesome ???? so ifyou want some dam good BBQ and fair pricing this is your place. Far cry from years back. I was just there a few days ago, $10+ for 1/4 lb of brisket, got home to enjoy that little for that... much and well, it was drier than leather on a humid August day. Never again, head to Mission BBQ in Wilkes-Barre where you'llstill be supporting those whom served AND they slice it FRESH for less! Sorry guys, step it up or shut it down! Never again!Update! Your response is 8 months late and Mission BBQ along with other small BBQ places blow your food away and for yourinformation I DID go back to your place that day, yet because you were closing you waved me away, so. The food was superb. I got the brisket and smokehouse fries. The brisket was succulent, so much depth to the taste of the meat.... The different sections of the meat each had a different taste experience. They offer a variety of sauces on each table to try;they don't charge for each sauce, so you can try them all. This? best BBQ I have had and recommended it too anyone looking for asome delicious smoked meat. P.S.
