We haven't visited Rhythm Cafe in 20 years, and this restaurant is still as charming and welcoming as when we we're first here.... Everything written before this says it all. The food is extremely well- prepared and clearly all made from scratch. Best... mushroom ravioli appetizer I have ever had the pleasure of eating!! I normally don?t waste calories on bread but had to getevery bit of sauce! (The homemade bread is worth it!) both our meals were terrific, and not a bite left over! We could notsay no when offered the dessert menu and when I saw that the ice cream and hot fudge sauce were both also homemade, the otherdesserts had no chance. I was going to stick to basic but classic with their vanilla bean, but our delightful waiter suggestedthe decaf coffee ice cream instead. I am so glad I listened!! I love coffee and have always loved coffee ice cream. This wasthe very best coffee ice cream I have ever had. The mouth feel was fabulous and the coffee flavor was strong but perfectlybalanced with sweetness and creaminess. The hot fudge sauce made it a startlingly perfect sundae. Not an exaggeration. This is an awesome place - every aspect! Easy parking, unique place, wonderful ambiance, good music, wonderful ?feel?, great... vibes, and that?s not even getting into the food!! Bob warmly welcomes you - a great host! The food is spectacular and veryaffordable! The specials are awesome! Great wines and drinks! The desserts are the perfect crowning jewel! I could NOT possiblyfind something with this entire experience to even drop my rating to 4 stars! - I?d give them 10 if I could! As someone that hasowned my own cafe for two decades, I was wowed! July 3, 2021: YUM. I love this place. It is so welcoming and comfortable. Bob is still the best. We had Saganaki (Cheese On... Fire) with Pita, Shrimp in a Lemon Sauce over Linguine, Tournedos Au Poive (with vegetables and rice, Red Snapper withArtichokes, Sun-Dried Tomatoes and Lemon Wine Sauce YUM. The vegetables and salads are great. For dessert, we had Heath Bar Pieand Toasted Coconut and Coffee Ice Cream (made in house). So good and so satisfying. We will keep coming back here. We loveit. Prior review: They really are a five. Cool ambience, really good food and service. Bob was the best. The bread is made inhouse and crusty and good. We had: Tenderloin Tips, Sautéed with Shiitake Mushrooms, Bacon, and Caramelized Onions, Demi GlaceSauce with Crumbled Gorgonzola Cheese on top. Yum. And a Snapper Meuniere Almondine (you have to ask for the Meuniere). OMGgood. The fish had a slight crispness from the sautee. Well executed. The entrees come with two sides. We had the green beans,sauteed spinach and coconut rice. We eyeballed the smashed potatoes but...next time. Dessert was an awesome Peach Cobbler withWhipped Cream on one side and house made Vanilla Bean Ice Cream on the other. And an Espresso. We will be back. Food was amazing! I can't say enough about the goat cheese pie and the blackened scallops for apps. Our bartender/server, Jamie,... was extremely nice and helpful. Tonight was our first night there and we're already talking about what we're going to order nexttime we go back! My husband had the jambalaya fettuccini and I had the mushroom ravioli, both absolutely delish! Read more
