Very disappointed. Me and my friends have came to the happy hour, because couple weeks ago I came to happy hour, got a drink and... food at the bar and was able to sit anywhere I wanted. This time the waiter has told us that we cannot order anything from happyhour menu if we sit in the different area and that there is no happy hour for other table?s besides the bar area. Also, thewaiter has said that there is no happy hour for big companies (it was 10 of us). The bartender talked to me rude when I askedwhy 2 weeks ago everything was different and I could get a happy hour menu, and sit whenever I want. The bartender said it is aseason now and they changed the happy hour area. Well, you have to mention in your social media or menu that happy hour is notin at the whole Banter, but only at the bar, which has way limited space! Also, why happy hour is not for big companies? Youshould then also specify in the menu how big a company can be to be able to fit into ?happy hour?. I really loved Canopy, andvisited it every couple weeks for past two years, some of waiters know me and my husband, but this time service was extremelyhorrible and stuff was rude. Not a treatment that I was expecting as a costumer who visits a lot. :( Read more

We went to banter for breakfast on labor day. We liked the menu it has lots of options and the items we ordered were... delicious. the restaurant seemed busy, our food came out very quick. Our waitresses Michelle and Maria were always smiling andmaking sure that we had a very good experience.. they took the time to give us great recommendations and gave us localsuggestions of things to do around town. Definitely a 10/10 experience we can?t wait to be back! Read more

Nice settings, decor and location, but Complete disappointment taste-wise. Both burger and steak requested well were burnt and... tasted awful. Hot chocolate was watery and cold. ????????The mimosa was the only thing that was made right on their entire menu. Read more

Very nice place and food. Good options for draft beer and the BBB Flatbread was really good!

Amazing food, extremely slow service, and outright Robbery for "valet parking". We had brunch at Banter and there is literally... no parking. Pulled up to the valet who was completely disinterested and took several minutes to slowly walk over to the car. Thevalet told us to park the car on the street and didn't even open our doors for us. The valet then charged us $20 to park whichis the only parking option. Valet was not very friendly and didn't offer any type of valet service at all. Once we walkedinside, the ambiance was actually really nice. Beautiful wide open ceilings, modern furniture, and bright lighting. The seats ateach table were horrible and very uncomfortable. The service was extremely slow but the waitress was polite. We waited about 45minutes for our food despite the restaurant being at about 30% capacity. Now the good part, the food was genuinely incredible. Some of the best brunch food I've ever had. The French toast was outrageously good. The eggs were cooked perfectly. The baconwas very tasty and crispy. All food items would be a 9.1/10 rating. Truly VERY good. The prices were a bit high, coming in ataround $40/person with no alcohol. Overall this place has amazing brunch food and a very beautiful ambiance, but horrible"valet" service, extremely slow food service, and high prices. It should be considered that the restaurant is at the bottomfloor of the hotel so guests checking in and out also may influence some of their service issues. Read more

So I've stayed at the Canopy when it first opened in 2020. Although it was in the heart of the pandemic I would give it a 5... star. Today I visited Banter/Treehouse restaurant for the first time. I would have to say I was very disappointed in the serviceand food. The food looked amazing, but very bland. Drink was very watered down and not worth the price. They asked for a creditcard before I ordered. I said I was paying cash, they still wanted one. Keep in mind I'm on a Rooftop 13 stories up only way outis through the restaurant and in the elevators or jump to my death over the balcony. Not a great policy at all. Other guests gotsilverware and napkins and I was handed plastic utensils. I had to ask for silverware. There was a bug in my food. I told theserver he did not respond. Another guest told him and he came over and asked if I needed a box to go. I responded no and hethen said sorry, but that was the down side of dinning outside. I asked for a manager to voice my complaints. He was veryattentive and said he appreciated my input. As a manager I would have comp everything. I would like to give them another chance, but not sure that I will. Even if all went well the food was still not good. Read more

We came here for happy hour and dinner and it was great. They have $5 wine specials, but make sure you ask which ones. They also... have specials on beers and mixed drinks. However, their food is what we came for and it was delicious. We ordered the brusselsprouts, fried calamari, the lobster "mac" and cheese, and chorizo meatballs. The brussel sprouts and excellent, the lobster macand cheese is amazing (it's a must), and the meatballs are delicious. The venue is beautiful, it's an atrium with lots of lightand a chill vibe. We're definitely coming back. Read more
