Franks Pizza is on the lower level of the West Orange Whole Foods shopping center. It only accepts cash payments. (There is an... ATM on premises). I promise despite these factors you won't be disappointed if you seek out this wonderful place. Franks hasbeen a consistent gem for many years. The family that owns and runs this restaurant/pizzeria have maintained a high standardfrom day 1. The food is delicious, every standard dish is excellent and freshly prepared. To me the exceptional standouts arethe Chicken Francese, Chicken, Contadina, Eggplant Parm sandwich, white pizza with garlic and broccoli and their mouthwateringgarlicky chicken with broccoli rabe wrap. My family loves the linguine with white clam sauce (it comes with 4 or 5 fresh babyclams in a fragrant garlic sauce), chicken marsala, baked ziti pizza, and an all around favorite is the square fresh tomatobruschetta pizza with of course garlic ;). Yes I and my family love garlic, but we also love restraint and good tasting food. Aside note, this restaurant and its staff stayed open during the worst of the pandemic serving the community. They would put foodin the trunk of your car, allowing those of us desiring a taste of pre-pandemic time to escape via food memories. They and theiremployees deserve so much by way of thanks and continued patronage. The ambiance is super clean pizzeria with many booths andseveral large tables. The takeout is well packaged. The food never disappoints! Whether you are a long time native or are newlydiscovering West Orange Franks.is one place worth a try. You will keep coming back. My family and I have celebrated birthdaysand anniversaries with their food. There are better looking places with tablecloths and candles, but for taste, freshness andconsistency this is the place. Nice clean place for lunch, clean bathrooms, Friendly atmosphere. Lots of parking & seating. I highly recommend this place.
Place is clean and the staff is friendly. There are a good amount of seats and they offer bring your own wine, not sure about... beer. Pizza was good. Cheesesteak was a little on the plain side and the roll was cooked a little too long. Spaghetti wasdelicious. Read more
Good pizza with a HUGE menu. ?Cash only? is a bit outdated but a good spot when you want home made Italian-American food. Only... complaint is that the mushrooms are canned and not fresh. Frank?s veggie pizza is 10/10. Would recommend to anyone in the area. Read more

Very seldom do I give a restaurant 5 stars. I don?t know what the other reviewers are talking about. We ate at a very well known... fancy Italian restaurant yesterday in Times Square and it does not compare to this place at all. This place is truly a gem.Everything we had was delicious. It was 9 of us, 5 kids and 4 adults. Ordered pepperoni pizza for the kids. Then each of us gota different meal. They treated us like family. I?m glad we found it. I will always make sure to stop by here each and every-timewe visit New Jersey. Oh yeah bring CASH they do not accept card payment at all. Forget all those complaining about having to getcash too. This place is definitely a hidden gem worth visiting. The location is a bit conspicuous, in the back corner of the parking lot,... next to retro fitness. However, the food is absolutely worth it. They are a cash only business, but I know many restaurants inthe area that are cash only as well. This is an easy area to get cash from if need be at the last moment. The food is amazing.Pizza the way it should be. I haven't had great pizza like this for as long as I can remember. The staff is friendly and theservice is quick.
