Where do I begin? I'll start with this. I live in Texas. November 10th is my mom's birthday. I wanted to do something super... special for her and honestly wanted to be with her, but unfortunately, my family and I are sick. I've called around to multipleplaces to see if the challenge I was asking could be accepted. After realizing Tokyo didn't open until 430pm, I did the nextbest thing ever invented....I went straight to Facebook to message the business. I asked if what I was looking for could bepossible and sure enough, it was and EVEN better. They were able to accommodate my mom and her friends for her birthday while Ipaid for it via phone. They went above and beyond for my mom to make this day super special as if I were there and evenmentioned her mom's name(who passed away in 2021) to keep her included as well. If you have family that lives locally and youaren't able to make it, but still want to celebrate them, Tokyo is the place you'd want. WOW! I'm still at awe that they madethis happen. Thank you Tokyo and all staff members for making this possible. Read more

This is by far the worst hibachi experience I have ever had. Wait over and hour to be seated when I was told 45 mins. Got to our... table and were told 30 mins in chef was prepping the cart. 30 mins after that chef was still prepping cart. Over an hour ofwaiting at the table. This was so ridiculous Read more

So the ratings for this place are way too high. Must be locals that dont know any better. The food was bland and the place... looked like it needed a good cleaning. The bathrooms were gross. The restaurant had a strange smell to it. Google you let medown on this one. Read more

Althou they opened at 4:30pm it was really worth it. You get to watch for fresh food cooked right before your eyes. The cooks... were talented and skilled as they did amazing tricks as they prepared our food.. That was my first time experiencing the grilland I won't be my last. So if you've never eaten there you may want to try it.. The food is good.. Read more

Upstate Louisiana ain't known for its East Asian cuisine, but every so often you find a wonderful, scrumptious gem. Tokyo isn't... going to revolutionize Japanese cuisine, or show you new and exciting dishes. What it does is sushi and steak, really well, atgreat prices and awesome staff. And with a better service than some Michelin-rated places I've been to! It's great, it'sfriendly, it's reasonable in its prices. Definitely worth a visit. Read more
