I don?t know what time of the day you need to order if you want remote fresh fries. I always have cold, soggy, limp fries tossed... in a bag and they?re the equivalent to breaded spaghetti noodles. This place has to be the worst Steak n Shake I have ever been to. The only reason I didn't make as a 1 star is because the place... was clean and shake was okay. Food was not cooked that well at all, burgers looked boiled, fries were barley cooked. Just reallynot good food. And when in the hell did you have to start paying for the seasoning. Sorry steak n shake I will never be back.And all of you looking for a good burger your better off going to McDonald's. Read more

Very clean. Employees were friendly. No more servers at your table. You must order at a kiosk. Fries were cold. Onion... rings were undercooked. Ordered Cheese fries, they were cold and received a tiny cup of cheese to dip fries in - wasn't likethe picture. I guess they're cutting back on costs, the shake was only 3/4 full and a tiny squirt of whip cream. Grilledcheese was smashed and soaked with grease. The burgers were ok, not the best. Read more
New menu and order system is horrible. Dont know what the world is coming too but the customer service is lacking anymore in... some Restaurants, especially this one.... Food was given to me on a dirty tray that had god knows what smeared on it. I assumedit was chili from my chili mac (i hope) Food was luke warm at best and under cooked like crazy. Pasta in the chili mac waseither sitting fir a while or not fully cooked. Spaghetti is NOT suppose to be crunchy. My brothers fries were cold and soggy,along with other customers i heard complain about cold fries as well. To top things off i shouldn't have to sit at a table withmy son who is special needs and hear someone from the kitchen say "were so busy i need an adderal to keep up"...... Thats defunacceptable in any establishment. My Family will NEVER return to this Steak and Shake EVER again. Hopefully they get someemployees there that actually care. Read more
It has been a while since I have been here. Of course, covid has the self service kiosks in place. We were advised as we were... ousting our order in that they were short handed so it was going to take a bit for our order. Surprise, surprise! The newmantra to reduce overhead and increase profit margins for business owners these days. It did not take too long for food, butour shakes were served in to go cups without whip or the cherry. Our burgers were tiny and slapped together quickly. Ifondly remember this place as being amazing. Very sad that they have lost the persona they once had of the real plates,silverware, ketchup bottles and fountain glassware with metal shake cups. Won't be going back anytime soon, I prefer thatcheesy nostalgia and good food to half baked customer service and food that resembles a fast food joint. Read more
