Food is really good, really liked the chicken ramen and the decor is so nice. Staff are very friendly and I definitely will be... back. If you like anime, this is definitely the place to have your ramen, and the bathrooms are an added bonus! Read more

First time here, you first walk in and you have the counter where you order. The menu is above them and you choose what you... want. I got a Tiger milk tea with Strawberry boba, fried dumplings, and beefy ramen. Tiger milk tea is different, I don't knowif it's something I would order again. The Boba is different, it's not the usual Boba where they are Circle popping Boba. Theyare flat chewy Boba, not bad just not what I was expecting. Fried dumplings are good, crispy and full of filling, they areserved with a sweet chili sauce. The beefy ramen looks beautiful, but, it is lacking flavor. I was expecting more of a beefflavor in the broth it's self. The noodles have good chew, the menu says buttered corn, but, it's lacking in flavor. It's frozencorn that they put in, overall not to bad, but, it could be better. Maybe I got spoiled by having Ramen for the first time outin Vegas. Read more

Delicious steamed dumplings!! Highly recommend. Had the pork Ramen. It was ok. The pork tasted over cooked and it could had used... more vegetables. I added some yum-yum sauce and it was tasty. I had them make it medium spicy and it was. My friend had thechicken udon hot spicy. He said it was really good and he was sweating from the heat of the broth. They were out of classic Bobaso I chose brown sugar Boba. I thought it made the tea overly sweet. I did not enjoy it much. Over all the food was good and Iwould go back to try other dishes. I discovered this little Melbourne jewel after eating at So-Ju Chickn on Wickham rd. I had trouble locating their menu online... and discovered Senzu owned it. That led me to immediately run to try a sister restaurant to one of my new casual diningspots. Now, I am a HUGE Ramen fan! Bao buns? Every day please! Fried chicken? I am a southern girl so 100 times yes! This spotis cute and trendy. The walls are covered in Naturto comic pages and the menu offered a small variety of Japanese street foodsthat all sounded wonderful! The tonkatsu soup had a delicate yet rich broth with so much mouthwatering beefy flavor. More richand hardy than many other ramens I have had! The noodles were perfect! Chewy and flavorful! The chashu was?just ok. Usually myfavorite part of a tonkatsu ramen is the pork belly but this felt soggy and not as fresh, thick or as firm as I was hoping itwould be. The egg was marinated in soy and had the perfect pop! Oh how I love mandated runny egg!!! The chicken was CRISPY! Thefries? Some of the best I?ve ever had! The secret? I?m guessing panko breading? The bao buns were plump and bouncy, filled withyummy marinated veggies but alas the pork was in small pieces. I adore pork belly bao buns and wanted to love these, but it feltmore like sausage due to the lack of it being thick seared sliced of pork. Even though the meat was a disappointment, it didn?truin the meal. Everything else had so much flavor and texture it was a mouth party! Will ABSOLUTELY be returning Read more

I've been to Senzu MANY times but this post is to get everyone excited for So-ju Chikn'!!!! WOW! Tony outdid himself with this... one. The chicken is deliciously crispy, I love the variety of sauces and the atmosphere is so fun! Don't be afraid to eat withyour hands and get messy, there's a sink in the front to wash off the extra sauce you didn't lick off your fingers. I'll be backfor the grand opening (and again and again)! It was my first time here & I absolutely loved it! As soon as I walked in, it smelled delicious and the atmosphere was inviting.... The wallpaper was all anime which I thought was super cool. I ordered 2 drumsticks and a bao bun with shrimp. SO yummy. I had acoffee like boba which I loved as well. I?m looking forward to trying everything on the menu eventually. Such a cute littlerestaurant with a very creative interior. Staff was super friendly as well. Terry was amazing & so helpful. Come eat here! Youwon?t be disappointed ? Read more

Senzu Noodle Bar- West Melbourne, FL- 1 Star Melting Pot (Noun) ? a place where a variety of peoples, cultures, or individuals... assimilate into a cohesive whole. --Merriam-Webster Dictionary I was taught that America was the ultimate melting pot. Lookingaround, anyone can see that this is so. I mean, you can get a tuna roll and some ramen at a baseball game, along with a hot dog, bratwurst and an ice-cold brew. If that is not mixing cultures, I don't know what is. This is a good thing and I never thought Iwould think otherwise until my name generator flashed the name Senzu Noodle Bar across the screen. I know that traditionally,Ramen is a Japanese dish taken from the Chinese in the 1860s after reopening her borders to the outside world...gunshipdiplomacy at its best. I also know that I am a citizen of the greatest melting pot culture the world has yet seen, but ya stillhave some expectations walking into a joint. What I did not expect to find is, according to Skyler, the unhelpful Gen-Zemployee, a vividly Vietnamese decorated restaurant with Japanese Manga, a Japanese Menu with Thai ice tea (referred to ?milk?tea and all the rage these days), blaring loud unintelligible music and exhaust fans so that your ears bleed. An interesting mixof motifs, but whatever works (hint?this does not). After having a few minutes to look over the menu, I was approached by theaforementioned Skyler. Did I mention she was exceedingly unfriendly and petulant? I get that we are all going through our ownstuff, but you have to be an adult and leave it outside of your place of employment. I did manage to get in an order of the ShioChicken and some fried tofu. As my server sulked away with the order, I again took in my surroundings. All I could think of wasthat Tokyo Disney, Shanghai Disney and a yet-to-open Disney in Bangkok pulled an all-nighter and puked all over the place. Itwas a complete mish-mash of Asian cultures. Thankfully, my too young to be so curmudgeonly manne Read more

Nicely themed anime/comic book vibe to the place but we thought the overall value and quality of our dishes was average at best.... Shrimp fried rice is $16 and you literally get 6 average-sized shrimp and a decent portion of fairly bland fried rice. Thechicken miso had a good broth but the chicken was VERY fatty and brown-colored so it wasn't appetizing to say the least. Myshrimp miso was very very tasty but for $16 for a bowl I feel as if they could a little less stingy with the shrimp. Again, there were only 5-6 in the bowl. The way they bring the meals to your table is kind of wonky as well, my son got his dish about5 minutes before the rest of us and we saw this happen to other folks as well so it seems to be standard operating procedures Iguess. The ladies taking your order and serving you were fairly cold and you got the vibe that they either didn't want to bethere or didn't want you there or both. Overall the food was decent but there's definitely room for improvement throughout therestaurant. Probably won't be going back. Read more
