I am a frequent visitor to La Scarpetta I happen to be single ! I wouldn't choose another place other than here to have Italian... food. Of course, when I'm not around my area in which I live, I go to other places. If you who are reading this review, pleasego there and order! Bring your girlfriend, boyfriend and, or the entire family, and you will experience the feeling that theentries, appetizers, deserts, don't forget the pizza, all make La Scarpetta a hidden treasure, and you have to read my review,get the directions and just GO. If you are not familiar with where this restaurant is located, or the strip mall at which it islocated, I not only hope that you will, I strongly recommend that, if you live within 5 or 25 miles from here, please go and tryit ! Well quite honestly the food was horrible the sauce on the pizza was terrible. We had to ask for everything like the bread and... soup. Like after we ordered we had to ask for our food. The calamari was the size of the onion ring. Not to mention they feltlike you were biting into a rubber band. All of our pizzas were very cold and service were terrible. Tuesday Night - not good. Hot sub was so mushy it could not be eaten and seemed like leftovers. The cheese was burned and the... sauce was dark, dark red like it had been twice baked. Bread crumbly on the outside and total mush inside. Usually good food,but since we have been frequenting we have noticed that certain nights are way different and the food quality drops offsignificantly. Prices are pretty high so I would think they always serve top quality entrees, but this is the second or thirdtime we have received below average. Read more
