Have tried a few times during the last two years for takeout and have always been disappointed, especially after seeing some... folks rave. As locals, we keep trying every so often to see if they've improved so we can continue to support. But we can't. There are just too many other better options. Wonderful place with an amazing happy hour. They have a dog menu for the patio which is Wonderful. Food has been great on each... visit. Drinks are also very good. They have custom mules which are one of the best I've had. They use a ginger liquor ratherthan the typical ginger beer. Must try when there. The waffle fries are also amazing and cooked perfectly. I treated myself to the blackened salmon with rosemary potatoes and grilled vegetables. I am very picky about my salmon and I... was very pleasantly surprised to love the way they prepared it! Visiting Oregon for the 1st time from Florida with our children. Popped into J. Willys for lunch and it was excellent! Hands... down, the best food we've had during our whole trip! We had the pork quesadillas (fantastic!) Swiss fondue with kielbasa(spectacular!) mushroom Swiss burgers (cooked to perfection!) and Willamette sandwich (divine!) Horrible experience. Sweet potato fries were unseasoned and EXTREMELY over cooked and burnt. They were practically inedible. As... for the meals, all 4 were incorrect and disappointing . The only reason I?m giving 2 stars and not 1 is the atmosphere was nice. Read more
