I was excited to try this burger place as it?s super close to our house. The service was great, very friendly folks! My... parents thought the shakes were wonderful and my husband and I appreciated their beer and wine selection. Off to a good start! In my opinion, one thing that really makes a great burger is when the buns are toasted or grilled, theirs are not. I guess I?mjust not a big fan of a big, dry, bready bun with my burger. The buffalo chicken salad needed less buffalo sauce (it wassmothered) and more chicken (there was very little). This salad was predominantly romaine and carrots. Would have enjoyed sometomatoes and avocado in the mix. It felt like it was missing something. Overall, good service goes a long way and maybe thekitchen was having an off night. My partner and I went here recently for dinner takeout. The staff were friendly and apologetic (they were short staffed and a... little short on the phone), and I appreciated their service. The onion rings saved this from being a one star -- they tastedfresh-made and had delicious batter! My order was a simple BLT but it was one of the worst I've had.. Bacon was burnt, toast wasburnt and stale, had to pull some brown lettuce off the sandwich, and the tomato was sour and mushy/not fresh tasting. I will say that the advertisement pix made the meat patty look thick, which itwasn't, yet it was very tasty and not frozen. Not frozen is a big seller for me.
