Cashier misheard my phone call and accused me of calling her a vulgar name. I tried to explain that there must have been a... misunderstanding and that I did not utter such language especially toward somebody on the phone. My partner and two friends (freshman at Purdue) placed a pizza order for pick up this past evening and when they returned to... pick up their food they were told they were never allowed back, refused any reasoning as to why, and refused the food they hadalready paid for. After walking out when first asked and not understanding what had happened, they received an email informingthem their food was ready and called to verify, which a staff member did along with the names with the orders, and they walkedback in to pick up their food. Upon returning, the employee that took their order originally (black hair, nose piercings) wasextremely rude and abrasive and berated them to leave, again leaving out any explanation as to why they were being refusedservice. After receiving a call from my shaken partner and hearing about this, I called myself, as I live out of town andcouldn't be there, and asked to speak to a manager and was put on hold. The same employee came back on the line and when askedwhat it was regarding, I calmly explained the situation and asked for any explanation as to why they were being refused service.The worker raised her voice and was extremely rude in response, and snapped back that they were rude/namecalling her. Afterasking how they had been rude, she refused to elaborate and hung up on me. My partner and their friends are extremely pleasantand nice people and do not recall any sort of negative interaction with her in their few minutes of ordering, only recallingever talking about the worker when saying they were so nice while walking out. As my partner still hadn't gotten their food ormoney, I called again and asked to speak to a manager. The cashier was extremely rude to me and my friends. She yelled at me and claimed that my friends were being rude to her. When... asked for an explanation of what was said, she refused to give an answer and yelled at me to get out. Clearly she didn?t have areason for kicking my friends out and was mad that I came to defend them. I have never experienced such bad customer servicefrom a person and I worked in the food industry.
