Old school wholesome vibes! Best Root Beer ever! Best prices for such goooood food! It?s only a drive- in experience and one of... the best experiences! They are closed in winters and reopen when the weather gets warmer! Read more

We went here for a family dinner. There were 5 adults and a toddler. We all enjoyed our food and the root beer. We ate at the... picnic tables instead of our cars, but the setting was great. Authentic drive-in with matching food. :-) Read more

Haven?t seen one of these places since I was a kid! Stopped in around 8:30 on a Monday night. Had the charo bacon cheeseburger... basket. Super yummy! Bacon was surprisingly real bacon and not floppy chewy bacon. Fries were nice and crispy. I didn?t try thecoleslaw since that?s not my cup of tea. Root beer was nice in the frozen mugs. Fresh food being close to closing. My husbandhad the coney burger and coney cheese fries. Coney sauce is delicious and I will have to order it when we come back. $20 bucksfor 2 people is very reasonable. Read the history sign and the place has been owned by the same family for over 40 years andthere are 2 now. Place was clean and staff was friendly. Especially since we ordered a regular and a diet root beer, theydidn?t tell us which one was which. We couldn?t tell, so they brought us out 2 new ones and said which was diet the 2nd timearound. We will come back when we pass through here again. Thanks for keeping a nostalgic drive in root beer stand! Read more

In West Lafayette for a doctor's appointment and found Dog n' Suds across the street. Enjoyed a bit of relaxing nostalgia! ... Same great root beer in the frosted mugs! Same great cheesy coney dogs! Plus, curb service with a smile. Thanks! Read more

Thats it for Dog n Suds on the West Side. Just paid $9 for an ice cold, paper thin, burnt, Rib Eye sandwich with unmelted... cheese. Nasty! New name for this glorified high school snack shack is "Dogs N Duds!" Read more

On vacation to my wife's home town. Dog n Suds closed in Manhattan KS about 1980. The trip here is a blast from the past for... me. As a kid we would pile into the old Pontiac and get some Coney Dogs, and the best cold root beer in a frosty mug. 40 yearslater the food is as I remember. I visited several times over my stay, thanks for the memories! Read more

My family got the breaded tenderloin, Texas burger, foot long coney cheese with onions, onion rings, fries, Cole slaw and root... beer. Everything was amazing and all 6 of us were full and happy. Highly recommend all of it. Read more
