Lately, some of the DDD joints I've visited have been a hit or miss. This one is definitely a hit! For Utah, it doesn't get more... authentic Puertorican than this. I had the Alcapurria, they only have beef, but it was so delicious! I will come back for thisalone. I also had the Mofongo con Carne Frita, (Mashed green plantains with fried pork chunks) it came with a side of broth. Myonly thing, and this is just personal preference, the pork chunks were over cooked and very dry. Had it not been for the broth Iprobably couldn't have eaten it, and with that I still left some. The Mofongo though was chefs kiss. I also had a side of ricecon gandules (yellow rice with pigeon peas), not memorable for me. Now service, which for me seals the deal on the wholeexperience, the gentleman was great! The woman in the front though just seemed like it was a bother to ask for something, anddidn't really check on me till I was done, while the other guests got follow ups and made sure their food was great. Other thanthat, I will still come back when I need my puertorican food fix! Read more
Incredibly delicious. I?m from Ecuador but I found Puerto Rican food very alike to ours. The flavors are so alike that I felt... joy while eating this food. I have no complaints about this restaurant. You have to try the grand caribe plate ASAP. 10/10???????? Read more

The food was flavorful. I wasn?t 100% sold on the arroz con gandules. The service was prompt and friendly. The location is super... far from where I live but I had to give it a try. I brought someone who tried PR food for the first time and they loved it. I amglad to see this business thriving. I remember them from the spice kitchen days. Give them a try. Read more
This place brought back memories of Puerto Rico I didn't realize I had. Authentic is the perfect word to describe their... creations. Family is how I'd rate their service. It was my first time - the cashier was incredibly helpful and kind, andwatching the server/cook's eyes light up when she taught me the different ways to eat my meal, and what her favorite was, wasthe look an expert gives when they're able to share their passion with someone just coming into it. The pork is perfect, theplantains divine, the shrimp juicy, and the food is heavy -- as they all should be. Don't be afraid to venture outside yourcomfort zone here. It's plain to see they put their whole hearts into making your food more than just a biological need; theymake it into a delightful craving. Read more
I ordered the Pollo Empanadilla. It only cost about $4. It was cooked to perfection. The crust was golden brown and filled with... a generous portion of seasoned chicken. I only waited about 5 minutes for my order. Service was courteous and professional. Seethe photos of the menu for information on other menu items and prices. Read more
My wife and I tried out Papito Moe?s today and were not disappointed. The food was delicious and we?re so glad we found such a... fun little Puerto Rican eatery. Word of the wise, though, be weary of the spicy sauce. It?s delicious, but has pretty decentkick to it. The garlic sauce was absolutely amazing and I would highly recommend it. Read more
