Not everything I'd thought it be but still good. Ambiance was very dark and swanky like a speakeasy. Is not kid friendly as... there are 0 highchairs and they first tried to sit us in a booth at the entrance away from everything but eventually got us abetter table. The waitstaff was friendly and professional. Food was above average. I really did enjoy the shrimp linguini.Carrot souffle was good too but it tasted more like dessert rather than side dish. There is no photography allowed which seemedweird because the manager told us specifically after my wife snapped a photo of the restuarant, but if you look on Insta thereare thousands of people posted pics from inside. Amazing vibe, ambiance, and service. Interiors and music were great with a really cute crowd. My waitress was pleasant,... professional, and just attentive enough to not be overwhelming. However the food was absolutely terrible and overpriced. Shrimpand crab salad was bitter and lacking. The oyster Rockefeller was tacky spinach dip on poor oysters. The lamb was marked up andtasted like seasonal, bland pot roast from a cheap diner. The mac and cheese tasted out of the box. The mash potatoes tastedlike they didn’t receive even one small dash of seasoning. And the dessert brownie was hard and dry and topped off with themost flavorless ice cream i’ve ever had. I’ve been a foodie in LA for 4 years with a background in hospitality branding.This is the worst food Ive had since being here. & the worst food Ive ever had at this price point in life. No picture, but the place rocked. We got the chicken fingers (what they’re famous for), Mac n Cheese, cauliflower, and salmon.... Given all four dishes were superb, I’d bet everything on the menu is superb. The live music was also great. Read more

Beautiful restaurant, dim lighting, tasty food. Just know that they will be watching you hard. My friend and I went for... drinks. We sat at the bar and also ordered appetizers. I made the mistake of taking a pic of the dining room, and out ofnowhere, a man working there came from behind me and said “sir, no pics allowed in here please.” Okay, that’sunderstandable. I apologized and didn’t take anymore. It came out blurry anyway. And I deleted it. The bartender was veryattentive and gave great advice on drink choices. Thus, I was happy to leave her a great tip. I signed the receipt and left acash tip. As we got up to leave, another staff member was literally standing right behind me and said, “I saw you using yourcalculator for the tip. Next time, all you need to do is double the taxes”. I was shocked and appalled that he was watchingme so closely. I told him, first of all, I already know that. Second, why are you all in my business? And third, I left waymore than 18 percent. Like I said, it’s a beautiful restaurant with great food and great ambiance, but just know that thestaff will be watching you hard. Perhaps because of the dim lighting. I get it. And I know it’s from the top down, and thestaff is just trying to do their job. But I was very offended that this man was all in my business as I left my tip. Youdon’t need to tell me how to tip.
