Reviews for Breakfast Republic in West Hollywood, CA
Super delish breakfast spot with superb vegan options! They have a separate (albeit small) vegan menu, but the choices are... outstanding, from a breakfast burrito to an omelette to an eggs Benedict. I've had the "jammin benny" which featuresblackberry-jalapeno jam (making it particularly unique!) on multiple occasions, and it is soooooo yummy. Comes with breakfastpotatoes. (Note: they don't have ketchup here, only a ketchup-like sauce with worcestershire.) Also, the bloody mary mix isvegan! Plenty of shaded outdoor seating, too. Great place if you're jonesing for a filling brekkie! Read more
Slow service took over 60 minutes for food to arrive. Not that busy. Had to ask for water, napkins and waiter afew times. Was... surprised by the presentation of the veggie omelet as it did not look palatable! Other people's meal presentation looked great. Not sure what happened to mine. Little one I was with was extremely patient for food to come. Cool, hip place. Guess I caughtthem on a bad day or lazy waiter. THEIR "HOMEMADE COFFEE CAKE" WAS A BUST! Small amateur looking piece for the money. Not worththe attention bubble the menu has for it. Enjoyed the coffee though. Read more

First time visiting this place and the experience was amazing. We appreciated the outdoor dining space. I had the Breakfast... Jambalaya and the spicy and sweet flavors were awesome. My wife had the Breakfast Tostadas and she thoroughly enjoyed them. Ifwe are in Hollywood for breakfast, we will definitely visit again. Thank you for the great service and amazing food! Read more
Service: Good service! Thankfully beat the rush, because this place does get full. Service was a bit slow, but the staff was... friendly and corrected all issues immediately. Food: The menu is pretty legit! A LOT of options, for vegan, vegetarian, and theomnivore. Had the chilaquiles? they were pretty solid; good portion size. Added the asiago fennel chicken sausage (it was meh)and the strawberry cheesecake (made with marscarpone) French toast. Decór: Chill, but modern. Wood floors, faux grass wall,AMPLE natural light, and balanced color scheme. Can definitely kick in there for some time. Read more
I moved to LA for a job relocation in Jan 2020 from San Diego so I have been going to various locations all around SD since... 2016-17 when they first opened and it's still one of my favorite breakfast spots. I was happy to see when it opened in Irvineand now finally it's in LA. Not only a taste of SD but straight up delicious food. There are other places for Mom's birthdaybreakfast but in terms of a casual breakfast it's hard to beat Breakfast Republic. To start the speciality lattes are awesome. My personal favorite is the salted caramel and I get it often. They have some of the best Eggs Benedict, specifically the CluckMadame, and make sure to add avocado. Throw on some cholula hot sauce and you have a perfect bite. The Gruyère cheese is such anice change for this dish the combo between it and Hollandaise is heavenly. I love their pancakes or a sausage as a side aswell. Doesn't matter which one you choose they are all amazing. The Jurassic Pork is delicious too it's pretty much candiedbacon but always a nice addition to any of the breakfast choices. I also think they have some of the best breakfast tostadas Ihave ever had. The tostada is always crispy, the black beans and salsa are full of flavor and being able to choose your eggpreparation is a nice change for the dish which makes this one unique and delicious. Our eggs were slightly over cooked thistime but know it's a new kitchen so things like that happen. In short some of the best Eggs Benedict, tostadas, and lattes andfor a fair price. I have been over 60 times over the last few years and will continue to go it's delicious I mean what else doyou need? Read more
