Little, cozy Italian on Sunset Blvd. We got arugula salad, beef carpaccio, bolognese, and shrimp spaghetti. Everything tasted... really good, including the bread! Read more
The food was 5 stars and the service was spot on. The owner was a bit rude after we didn't order wine and did not bother to... interact with us after that point. But if you buy wine you will be treated like a king. I also didn't like him being the ordertaker since we had a very nice server that brought us the food and drinks. Read more
If you are anywhere in Los Angeles or on a vacation this is a must stop and a hidden gem in West Hollywood. You will have the... best Italian food in all of Hollywood and maybe the City. There is not one thing wrong with this place. It is perfect. You willbe in heaven. You will be calm and relaxed while served by the best staff and the owner is cute as a button, and Italian. Itwas concert night for Buddy, my grandson, and I and we were in search of a new fine dining restaurant. We were driving downSunset Boulevard in West Hollywood and Buddy sees this little tiny Brown building and says let's look. He sure knows how to pickthem. Turns out to be an Italian restaurant with everything made from scratch, no preservatives, no sugar, just amazing food. They even make their own bread. We walked in, parking is on the street and they might have valet at night, I don't know. Wewere the first ones there. They were not even open yet, but we did not know and we walked in. The sweetest, most adorable youngman asked us where we would like to sit. The place is so pretty, but small. We told him to put us where ever he wanted. We werestarting to realize the place was just about to open. The waiter took us upstairs to the most wonderful table near a window. Heasked what we might want to drink and gave us menus. Their menu is not huge. Again, they make everything from scratch. We werebrought warm Italian bread and it was so great. I asked about it and they make it right there as they do everything. It wasamazing. For entrees we had ravioli and a wonderful pasta filled with shrimp, clams and mussels in a red sauce. It was sogreat, my grandson was "sharing" my food. Again, all made there, to order, by scratch. For dessert we had the best Tiramisu Ihave ever had in my life. As the place began to fill I could see wonderful dishes going by. The waiter was kind to my grandsonand gave us all the time we wanted. It was just a wow experience and I have been to most of the Italia Read more
My wife and I had the most wonderful evening at Amarone. We were pleasantly surprised to have our high italian cuisine... expectations blown out of the water. The authenticity of their pasta and tomato sauce, the freshness of their fish and meat isincomparable. Just thinking of our experience is wanting me to go back! Thanks Sandro and staff, see you all soon! Read more
We never have a bad meal here. Tonight we had the carpaccio of beef with arugula instead of capers, the parpadelle special with... mushrooms and truffle and tiramisu for desert. Everything was just perfect..upstairs was a bit chilly!! Read more
The food is is great. The service was on point, passionate and helpful. We went with a party of 4 and all of us got a different... special. None of us were disappointed. Two draw backs are, they only sell wine for alcohol, nothing else. The 2nd draw back isthat the space is limited. 2 - 3 tables downstairs 6 or so tables upstairs. So always make a reservation. Apps, mains anddessert were all made to perfection. Read more
