The pizza we ordered was horrendous; it was soggy and undercooked. The fried clams & fries we ordered were also terrible. My husband and I order from them regularly. Their menu is extensive and their prices are reasonable. Our faves include lasagna,... tuna fish grinders and the Greek chicken wrap. We look forward to trying other menu items in the near future. Read more
The pizza is excellent and on par with any other New Haven area pizza, which says a lot considering the quality of New Haven... pizza in general. Their dinners are delicious with generous portions. I?ve had their breakfasts and sandwiches too andeverything always leaves me very full and satisfied. The only thing I would suggest is that they start carrying freshhorseradish sauce or do a in house creamy horseradish sauce for the sandwiches because all NY style delis should have this ontheir menu it really elevates the sandwiches, especially the roast beef. So far I?ve only had the bagels and cream cheese, but I will be back for more things! Superb bagels, with a light crispy crust... and fluffy yet chewy interior, loaded with full flavor. Truly the perfect balance on all fronts. I forgot to ask if they boilthem before baking, but they sure look, feel, and taste like it. I haven?t had a better bagel since the last time I was inNYC. The cream cheese is smooth, wonderfully fully flavored without being overpowering, and matches the bagels flawlessly. On myvisit, somebody else was picking up a pizza, which smelled heavenly. Newer spot in the area. Just what the neighborhood needed. Quickly becoming a staple that I expect to do extremely well. Great... friendly staff, Quality ingredients and now all that?s left is to try the Pie, though it is the general New Haven Area so thebar is set high, but I think they got what it takes. Their bagels are the BEST in the area, seriously reminding me of NY/NJ style with the... freshest, creamiest cream cheeses (yes they even have lox) ...will definitely be going back and trying the rest of the menu!
