I called in a take out yesterday for my brother and I. He wanted the Patty Melt sandwich and I wanted the Jumbo Brisket... sandwich. Also some of your ?Fresh hand squeezed Lemonade?. Four glasses since you didn?t have caps for the 1/2 gallon bottleswhich is what I wanted. (This is what I was told.?)\nHe enjoyed the Patty Melt but my Brisket sandwich was lacking. More like stark. It was a slab of brisket on a roll (with a side of your sauce).\nNow I realize that there was no description of it on themenu but the assumption was that it would be like any of the other sandwiches which came with things like lettuce, tomato, onion, pickles, or any combination of the like. Appearing not at all as appetizing as anything in your photo gallery. For$10.00.\nAnd your Freshly Hand Squeezed Lemonade could have come off any shelf of any grocery store. Nothing special about it atall.\nNow I don\'t mind paying a little extra for an enjoyable meal but $32.xx for that just did not sit right with me. Read more

I spent $38.60 on dinner here and let me tell you I\'m tempted to bring all my food back and ask for my money back.. because I... do still have almost every piece of food still. I ordered meatloaf and mashed potatoes and the gravy on both of them... Ittasted like ground up slim Jim and water mixed together. It was barely edible tbh. I took one bite of my meatloaf and almostcouldn\'t swallow it...it was that bad. My boyfriend got the fried chicken and mashed potatoes and a side of french fries whichwas misunderstood as a substitution. But that\'s not a big deal at all if the food was even okay at the very least. His stomachhurt himreally bad all night. Even called out of work the stomach was so bad. Eat at your own risk look I had high hopes forthis restaurant I begged my boyfriend daily to bring me there!! Please fix you\'re restaurant. It could be really amazing!! Read more

We\'ve ordered takeout from here a few times and have enjoyed it. Our favorites are the fried chicken, baby back ribs and fried... chicken sandwich. The sides have been good, especially the cornbread and collard greens. Definitely recommend giving them a try. Read more

I’m sorry to be that person but I knew southern style food up north wouldn’t end well..some items are ok but there is... nothing southern about this place. I’m from NC and was really looking forward to a place where I could sit down and feel athome but I was a little disappointed:( the staff is nice but I do agree some need to learn the menu a little better since theperson who took my order looked at me like I had 2 heads. Also just a heads up if you are going to use southern slang at leastspell it right..and I mean that in the nicest way. It’s “y’all” not “ya’ll”. Read more

LEGIT southern cuisine and tremendous value. Really hit the spot. I ordered the bone-in southern fried chicken and the shrimp &... grits. They came with mashed potatoes, collard greens, coleslaw and some extra hoecakes. Everything was yummy at the least. Theshrimp and grits were superb, perfectly seasoned, grits nice and velvety. Once finished with that and the yummy sides, I barelyhad room for the fried chicken, which was crisp, perfectly seasoned/not too salty, juicy yet not greasy, and MEATY. Chicken wascut up nicely for convenience. I\'m a grown man and I expect this meal to feed me two more times. Read more
