The flour tacos were yum! Would just go back for those next time. Also got guacamole, crunchy tacos and a bean and cheese... burrito. Consensus around our table. Just get the yummy Gordita like tacos. We got there a few minutes before 11am, and alreadyat least 5 cars waiting to be let in! All shall fall onto their knees and thank the stars for the glory that is Tasty Tacos! Ok, so a little bit of exaggeration but... holy cow do I love me some Tasty. The original flour is excellent but I recommend the pork and the chicken. Both have greatflavor with a little more heat in the pork. We also enjoy the nachos. Read more
I would put the original flour tacos here against any in the United States. I have lived in and traveled all over the Southwest.... Visiting many chains and family owned. Tasty Tacos is far and away the best there is. There homemade sauce has no equal in tasteand quality. Read more

EVERYONE told us we should go here when we moved to the area. They all said it's the best tacos in Des Moines. Granted, we're... originally from San Diego so our expectations were high but . . . um . . . NO! This was absolutely, 100% inedible. I think Ithrew up in my mouth a little (no joke). It was also one of the filthiest establishments I've ever eaten in (shame on me forstaying). Never again! Read more
