Reviews for Tian You Feng Dumpling House in West Covina, CA
It could get busy during dinner hours. I like their dumplings, they have the special dipping sauces for the steam dumplings, but... not the pan-fried ones. In my opinion, the beef noodle could be improved. Hopefully they?ll not use disposable plates in thefuture. Tips: ask for shredded gingers, spicy garlic chili oil on the side for your dumplings Read more
Loved it. Lot's of food reasonable price. If you are ordering to go call ahead of time because the food is so good it does get... crowded Read more
This place is hands down the best dumpling house I've ever gone to. The service was immaculate and super interactive. The server... was fantastic at giving recommendations and super friendly. I would recommend the spicy chicken. The heat and numbness creep upon you, but you can't stop eating them. I definitely want to come back and try more of the items on their menu. Read more
Ordered the spicy shrimp and pork dumplings. Outstanding flavor, spicy! And ready in less than 5 minutes, disregard the 25-40... minutes. Pick up super easy, friendly staff. If under $20, cash only. Can?t wait to try something else. Read more
Let?s start with the service, because that?s what stood out most. Food was mostly pretty good as well. Some dishes were just a... little off. Not bad but missing a touch of something. Like the spicy fried chicken. Could have been a killer dish. Definitelyhad the numbing spices, but I wanted the spiciness as well. A dipping sauce could be an option as well. We tried adding chilioil which helped. Still 4 stars. Spicy wontons and soup dumplings. These were also pretty good, but a tad on the sweet side forme. 4 stars. Green beans. My buddy wanted this dish and I?m always fine adding some veggies to make me feel better, just wasn?tlooking forward to it but was I wrong. The best dish of the 4 we tried. 5 stars. Definitely worth another visit and will try afew different dishes and combinations. Read more
Chinese spot with cartoon buns. Came here with my mom on a Saturday around 6:30 for dinner and got seated immediately. There?s a... parking lot with plenty of parking. Credit cards and cash is accepted. There?s both indoor and outdoor dining, as well astakeout available. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. We got three dishes for the two of us and hadleftovers for the both of us. They were out of custard buns when we were there, so we opted for the red bean buns. They come in5 and are shaped like little pigs, which almost made them too cute to eat (key word being almost). The combination fried ricedoes come with shrimp - it was a tad dry but filling. The fried pork dumplings were tasty and came in 8 pieces. Read more
We really enjoyed our first time here!! Our hostess/server, Lolli, was incredibly sweet and attentive and gave us some great... recommendations. We had their house chao mein, pork and shrimp wontons (extra spicy the way I like them), juicy pork dumplingsand sautéed bok choy with garlic. Not a bad dish in our order! We will definitely be back!! Read more
First time here and we ordered the pork dumplings. The pork was not cooked all the way still pink. It tasted horrible like... canned meat. The only think from our order that was ok was the combination rice and the pot stickers. We most likely won't becoming back here again Update: I didn't eat much of the uncooked pork dumplings but what I did have was enough to make me sicka few hours after getting home. Definitely not a place I recommend. Read more
