Reviews for Sterling Pig Public House in West Chester, PA
We always enjoy eating here when we visit our daughter at college. The smoked wings are the best!!! Pulled pork & brisket is... delicious along with the beer & flavored seltzer. We’ve never had a bad meal. Read more
September 2021 Grabbed a quick happy hour meal, and got a beer, glass of wine, taquitos, and nachos for just $23. Everything... was outstanding except the taquitos were overcooked, but service was extremely friendly and attentive, and it's a niceatmosphere inside. Definitely will come back. Read more
Great place for drinks and apps. I raced over early to ensure I got fresh BBQ! So we started our meal with the seasonal August... NEIPA and watermelon mule. I personally was not a huge fan of the watermelon mule because the ginger soda overpoweredeverything. The August NEIPA was delicious! Decided to give the pulled pork platter a try, I was so excited to get some goodlocal BBQ. I was recommended to get the Mac & cheese and French fries since two sides come with the meal. Unfortunately the porkcame out cold. The flavor was there but just not as fresh as I thought it would be considering we got there when they opened. The Mac and cheese was very bland and cold as well. Coleslaw was completely soaked in dressing. The only thing that saved themeal were the French Fries. It was the only thing served kinda warm. The corn bread was alright. We also ordered the pulledpork sandwich. The pork was also cold. The buns were nicely toasted thankfully. Overall I honestly believe we came in on a badday. This restaurant has the potential to be so much better. It was especially disappointing to be served cold BBQ. I thoughtthey took pride in serving fresh BBQ daily. It is why I pushed to get here early to not miss out on it, which I honestly wish Idid. Read more

Had the brisket was a little dry and not much of a smokey flavor. Regardless it was good along with the service and local liquor... they offer as well. Can be a bit of a challenge for parking (fyi) but a good stop regardless. Enjoy! Read more
Our first time at the Sterling Pig Public House... And not the last! The place is spotless, with a great atmosphere and decor.... The staff is friendly, helpful, knowledgeable. Timely service with a smile. Now, the beers... OMG.. A symphony of flavors, aromas, a whole range of emotions.. paired with a BBQ combo - all meats were so tender and flavorful, perfectly seasoned andsmoked-cooked in house- and a smoked Reuben... Heaven with the home-made sauces.. A new gem! Read more
We came here for their soft opening. Started the meal with an order of fried cheese curd and a French onion soup. The soup was... very good, like home made good. Could have used a bit more cheese. I’m used to the classic Cheese flowing over the edges ofthe bowl. The fried curd was okay. Our first batch was nothing but the fried batter due to the cheese leaking out during thefrying. They quickly and apologetically got us a new batch. The second batch was a lot better. For my entree I had the smokedwings. They were slightly dry (due to the smoking) but otherwise great. The sauces offered were pretty good too. The bleu cheesewas quality. Not the thin watery stuff a lot of places try to give you. My wife had the spicy chicken sandwich which she saidwas very good, but the sauce could be a little more pronounced. The sriracha overpowered the honey and garlic in the sauce. Ihad one of their house beers, an ipa with citrus. It was alright, nothing fancy, just a good drinking beer. We will definitelybe going back. Read more
Sterling Pig always has a beer for everyone. They have a variety of styles that are all delicious. The food is typically great,... but sometimes the menu labels are not thorough enough. Tonight I ordered a chicken quesadilla that said it came with peppers andonions. Since it was not labeled as spicy, I incorrectly assumed this meant it was made with sweet peppers. I was dead wrong! The quesadilla has hot cherry peppers in it! Why? Why in the world would someone do this and not warn a customer? Read more
