Michi sushi cafe is a hidden gem in west chester. Located right next to acme, I usually find myself ordering take out from this... restaurant during lunch. They usually have the most amazing deals while still being good quality food! I hope they never changetheir great deals. This time though I decided to come in for lunch and try something new! Our waitress was very nice and gotour waters very fast. Our food arrived in a timely manner. I ordered the chicken curry with white rice bento box lunch special.It comes with tempura vegetables, shumai, and a four piece California roll. The tempura vegetables were fried perfectly. Theshumai was equally crispy and was one of my favorites! The California roll nicely balanced out the heavily fried aspect of thebox. You can really tell how good a restaurant is by their rice and the rice was cooked perfectly! As for the chicken curry, Ithink I may have misinterpreted what I was going to get. The chicken was more on the boiled side of things, which is not myfavorite. I had to set the chicken to the side. The sautéed vegetables however made up for that! Mildly spicy curry sauce,which was more of a clear sauce with some speckled seasonings. I personally would not order it with chicken. Maybe I?ll try itwith shrimp or just stick with the vegetables instead. The fantastic roll was absolutely delicious! As well as the spicy crabroll. Their sushi rolls are always addicting! I would always find myself ordering their signature eagle roll because of howunique the roll is. The roll is fried with cream cheese center! The eagle roll plays well on your palate with all of thedifferent textures and flavors. I will always recommend Michi! Can not wait to visit again! Read more
Food is always amazing and fresh; even when you order takeout, presentation is wonderful. Prices are good, and staff is always... friendly, even when COVID-19 restrictions were fully in place. Inside of the restaurant is pleasant and has a wonderfulatmosphere. Read more
Great Japanese and other Asian fusion food. They always have excellent sushi. They are great for takeout and dine in and are... fairly reasonably priced. It has been one of our favorite spots in the area for years. I highly recommend any of the "dinnerbox" entrees. Read more
I have been a patron of this restaurant for the last 4 years. They have always been fantastic, and have only improved the... already excellent experience of their customers during this time. Myself and my many friends have always enjoyed our experiencehere. The staff are all respectful, polite, and friendly. The service is quick, and professionally executed. This is definitelyone of the best local sushi spots. Friends of mine have hosted birthday parties at this location, and the staff were even kindenough to bring the cake out as a surprise. These days there are not many restaurants out there that are dedicated to theircraft for the sake of your dining experience. Michi however- is a reputable establishment where I know they are truly dedicatedto bringing you wonderful food, service, and overall local dining experience. I highly recommend Michi Sushi. We had 4 sushi rolls. The Fantastic roll, the Sweetheart roll, the Yummy Yummy roll, and the Autumn Fall roll. I think my... favorite was the Yummy. The food was delicious, and tasted pretty fresh. The atmosphere was a little iffy, though. It wasnt BAD,but it didnt quite reach the bar that the food put up. It was kinda dark and seemed a bit dead to us. Honestly for the qualityand taste of the sushi, it should be served at a fancier place, not so much a little hole in the wall. I hope they end up goingbigger. It would be very good for the place. Stopped here for dinner with my parents on 8/26/22. We were welcomed by a nice young man who brought us to our table. We then... were met with our server who was absolutely amazing, the daughter of the owners of Michi Sushi as I been a loyal customer since2012 when this awesome establishment opened. Now to the food, it's absolutely wonderful every time. The three of us orderedDinner Boxes, my mother had chicken w/ garlic sauce, she raved how delicious her meal was, my father had chicken teriyaki, hewas very happy with his and I had General Tso's chicken extra spicy, the best ever! All three of us had fried rice with ourboxes. We all enjoyed our dinner. The lovely family who runs this establishment are truly special, professional and so pleasant.As a Culinarian/Foodie, I Highly Recommend Michi Sushi for your spectacular meal!
