May have just become my new favorite date night restaurant in WC. Went to Dolce Zola last night on a whim and the food is... fantastic. We started with three appetizers: the eggplant parm, chicken meatballs and fried calamari. Of those three, the friedeggplant was easily the best. It was multiple pieces thinly sliced and layered on top of each other. Crunchy exterior anddelicate interior with a red sauce and melted mozzarella sprinkled on top. The other two were just ok. For dinner I got thepescatore pasta and my wife got the braised short rib pasta. (The rest of our group got different things. I didn't try them all,but my brother got a carbonara which was also very good). Back to my meal- the pea store was delicious. The noodles and shrimpwere cooked to perfection. Being fresh noodles, they were still a little chewy which I loved but it was really the blush saucemixed in with the crab that really made the dish. The sauce was creamy and really flavorful, but not overly wet. It was perfect. My wife got the braised short rib pasta. The short rib was also delicious, but personally I don't like the large noodle thatcame with her dish. She on the other hand was a big fan and loved the whole thing. Seems like you can't go wrong with any oftheir fresh made pastas. Read more

Had a lovely first experience here last weekend! Our server, Ella, was super knowledgeable about the menu and made our dinner... great. The food was amazing and tasted so fresh. Definitely worth the price for a homemade meal. Can?t wait to come back! Read more

We got seated on the basement floor, which was cold, dusty and had rather uncomfortable chairs. The food and service were OK - I... thought the pasta game was strong but the sauces were pretty bland. There are several other places I would recommend for pastain West Chester before dolce Zola. I would give 3 stars but I have to give major props for such a low corkage fee, which bumpsit up to 4. Fantastic. Truly in-house, scratch pasta. Great Italian food should be simple - at dolce Zola, every dish is beautifully crafted... without being too ?upidty?. The chicken meatballs were so incredibly moist while being light and fluffy (not labeled on themenu, the three smaller meatballs are each topped with a generous dollop of ricotta). For entrees, the Carbonara was so saucyand rich (in a non-overbearing kind of way), the pasta perfectly al dente, and the dish *chefs kiss*. The salmone affumicato wasflavorful with so many layers to the dish as well. We always love coming here because we know the quality is top notch. Can?twait to come back soon! Read more

The pasta here is absolutely phenomenal. They're still BYO despite having a liquor license now - corkage is only $5, which is a... bargain. Service can be a little spotty sometimes as I know they get stretched thin with the extra tables outside and sometimesthe kitchen gets backed up for that same reason. Overall an excellent place to eat, and definitely a good date spot. Read more
