This waffle house exceeded my expectations!! Now, you may need to ask yourself, "how much do I expect from Waffle House?"... ...Exactly! But regardless, they the food and service was great. Everyone working here had their own bit of personality thatthey weren't shy about sharing. It was comforting after a long day headed into a long night at the hotel. Sunday evening around 8:30pm myself, my daughter and 6 of her car club buddies decide to eat at the Waffle House on Cox Rd. We... pull up in 7 different cars that all have radio systems, paint jobs, lowered, with nice rims and lights and exhaust systems, thewhole works. Which is extremely expensive. So these kids either have rich parents or they work hard for their money(based on the"judging a book by its cover" theory) As soon as we stepped foot through the door one of the girls working said "Give me 1 goodreason to serve all 8 of you?" ???? No other customers in the place. Waiting on 2 whole tables must be difficult???? I've beenserving/bartending for 20yrs. Never will we step foot in that location again! But I know the server at Fricker's was happy withher $50+ tip she got from the party of 8 that only 4 ppl actually ordered food. Do better, you never know who you are serving. Read more
Well !! Don't go to this location. Rude waitress/waiter. 1ST waffle not cooked. No crackers. Took 2 times to understand the... mumble. "we are out." If they would talk to us and not walk way as they talked. But they were busy complaining that no oneworks. Stepped outside to call the manager or a different employee to complain. We were the only ones there at first. A man didcome in. Guess who took his order after sitting there a few minutes. The cook. Only one drink refill. Just cause husband askedthe cook. Took forever for them to add check. Should have been done right after the order was up. Oh yea, cook delivered thefood. Waitstaff to busy on phone. They had no gravy or chili available! They had said they had thrown in our and wasn't making anymore of it! The staff seemed to... be ok not the nicest works I've in countered but no the worse! Food I did order was good! Read more
A great experience! You know what you are going to eat when you choose the Waffle House and this location did not disappoint.... From the greeting, to the eating, to walking out the door with a kind goodbye. The food was excellent, the restaurant is veryclean, but what stood out the most was our talented cook J, and our server Chaz, who were lovely professionals -going backtoday!! Read more
We bring our family here and enjoy the easy going atmosphere and the food always comes out the same. Except the bacon lol... sometimes it's a little burnt for my liking. My wife enjoys the chocolate chip waffles and the girls usually have eggs andbacon. The sausage egg and cheese sandwich is always a great inexpensive choice. Read more
Just came in at 530am on a Monday morning... sorry to say this is the 3rd time coming here and all times it was a bad experience... from racism to pure laziness. we were the only people here.. once we came in and sit down they stated "we are only doing takeout orders".... umm ok I thought you were 24 hours.... but I digress... they proceeded to be short and complaing about workingthe previous evening... needless to say we will not be returning..they had 0 customers there was no excuse for sending upaway... and the audacity to give me a look when I didn't tip after having me pay for the food before I even received it...because trust if we would of had good service you would of had a good tip... goodluck to this location hopefully it gets managedbetter in the future. Came in one lady was working cooking never said hi sorry I?m by by myself sorry I will be with you in a minute nothing Then we... kindly ask are you by yourself tonight and she said there was a guy here but he left. About 5 mins later a guy walked out didn?tgreet us and just pulled out his phone and stood there. The vibe here was terrible. The place was filthy food all on the floor.I know it?s Waffle House but gosh. We got up and just walked out. I will never go back there. I think a staff meeting is a must here common hospitality is lacking. Wasted 20 minutes of my life trying to eat here.
