Again my wife and I had the pleasure of enjoying our breakfast at the Original Pancake House today. The meals were... fantastic. The service was excellent. The atmosphere great. Our server, Kayla, was exceptional. Very attentive to us. Verypersonable and timely! Greeted us in a very friendly manner. Took our orders in a very professional manner and served our mealjust as ordered making it a great experience. The food is great and the service is what makes us come back! Come hungry as the portions are huge. The ham and cheese omelette was golden and fluffy but definitely big enough to share as... it's made with 5 eggs! The pancakes are likewise fluffy and very tasty as the name of the restaurant implies ???? They are thebest I've had. Service was exceptional and we didn't have to ask for anything. Our food arrived promptly and coffee was alwaysbeing topped off just when it needed a warmup. We went during the week and got in right away. This place is super popular overthe weekend and there is almost always a long wait. Go during the week if you can - it's quieter, the servers are not rushed offtheir feet, and you can take your time. First and last time I'll ever be at this place. The front desk staff ladies are RUDE. They talk to you like you're bothering... them by being there. They quoted us 50-60 minutes for a wait. Okay. About an hour in we see three people waiting before us stillhasn't been seated AND a large party was seated before us. Not because they had been waiting but according to the lady thattakes payment "the kitchen told them to seat them". I then asked the "hostess" were we going to be seated or not because I wouldrather know than keep waiting. I had my kids with me as well and they were very hungry at this point. She was immediatelyconfrontational and started spewing lies, such as "you've only been waiting for 29 minutes". Dry long wait, waited 45 mins to be seated. After we were seated we waited a while to order, and waited another 35 min to get... the food. We spent 2 and half hours there, and 20 minutes actually eating. The food was good though just hated the fact we hadto wait so long. Read more

Awesome, it?s such a breath of fresh air to visit an establishment and be greeted with a smile, and really feel welcomed. I am a... little extra usually when it comes to tweaking menu options, but my waitress Cheri explained and hooked it up for me! It was good food. Good expensive food. Got there before the big rush apparently. Because when we got there there was nobody in... the line to be seated, leaving: people to the door and wrapped around. Anyways, delicious french toast. Kids liked their foodalso. Orange juice has a lot of pulp (we were told beforehand). Nobody liked them though. But good thing we ordered small onesbecause they were 4 dollars and some change. Also didn't know that for almost $5 we would all get toddler size drinks. Food iskinda high but it was good. Daughter was disappointed with no hash browns on the menu. Open and comfortable restaurant with fast and friendly service. I make sure to have breakfast here whenever I am in town. Tasty,... flavorful pancakes and crepes that are truly sublime. They feature sourdough and buckwheat varieties, Swedish and potatopancakes, as well as their famous Dutch Baby. Eggs, breakfast potatoes and bacon are equally satisfying. A real treat! Read more
